Its all the way up to 26° out now & I forgot my ‘baklava’ so i had a cold face going into the wind for lunch run. (No flytrap, it wasn’t hurting me, so it couldn’t be killing you.) I also missed lunch as the cafeteria closed at 2, damnit.
Nah - her non-“knowledge” posts can be interesting and amusing. I’ll just filter her. 
I need to start thinking about what to do for supper. I need a kitchen fairy who will know what I want and have it prepared when I’m hungry. Is that too much to ask?!?!?
Howdy Y’all! Irk is over and I hereby declare the weekend. Three whole days! YAY!!! Dindin shall be salmon patties, smashed N.O.T., English peas, and bizkits. No meat on Firday durin’ Lent at da cave. I try to act at least a little repentant.

JDD’s Bro is in the nursin’ home. I think I mentioned that already. He got a private room at the semi-private rate because he’s on hospice care. Sorry ass thing he lives with has gone away to South Carolina but says he’ll be back in three weeks to “clean the house”. Right! That place is a filth hole! I told JDD if it were me, I’d strike some matches in strategic places, lock the door and walk away. Anywho, JDD says he’s gettin’ the locks changed. Thus, be on the watch for tales of high drama in the comin’ weeks.
Almost over for the week. I took a sick day yesterday cause I have a sore throat and was feeling puny. Slept the day away and slept good last night.
Lily I don’t love flying but so far I am still here. Good luck with travels and have fun.

Supper was leftover poke for me and brats for FCD, fried N.O.T.s-n-onions, and lemonade. Not great, but edible, so there’s that. We’ve been eating in the dining room because using the coffee table from the couch is too painful for my sweetie. So we’re all like adults and stuff!
The spinal patching is done and DH is starting to feel better.
We’re at the infusion center now, overhearing a young guy talking about the idea of applying for SSDI. From what I can see, he’s probably mid-30s and still has his hair. I’ll let him find out for himself how long and terrible the process is likely to be.
Dindin has been ingested. OYKW is preparin’ for a soak in the tub. All is well.

Well, thanks for the good wishes everyone. Since the problem is not now acute I can’t get a quick appointment, but I did call the office and get a time the first week in March. 
But if if gets bad again I can call sooner. I have an appointment with my GP next Wednesday, and I will mention this to him.
The urologist I will see is not familiar to me but was in the same practise as the urologist I had, who recently retired. Wah!!! I really liked Dr. Isaacson. I have no reason to assume the new guy will be anything but fine, but you know how it is.
Since I only have the one kidney now I want to be very, very, VERY nice to it, and keep it in good health.
I got my doggy back from the vet, he had his teeth cleaned. Boy was he happy to see me come in! I can’t understand people who don’t take their pets in for regular “maintenance”. It costs less in the long run to keep them in good health. Sheesh, you do it for your car, why not your cat or dog or whatever you have?
Tomorrow evening I have to do much the same thing as I do at work. I signed up to provide after service treats for church, so I’ll bake some cookies and sausage balls. I also have filo left and some of those little cheese balls(I froze them) from last week’s party, so I’ll make more of the little cheese turnovers. You should come to my church, we know how to snack!

The sausage balls are an equal mix of grated cheese, sausage, and baking mix. Knead them together then scoop out small dips and bake until done. Folks like them because they are a change from the usual sweet stuff.

Doggio iffn you’re not working next Sat we’ll have a surprise birthday party for Mooommm. For a location, I’m suggesting Falls Church, VA since, “We plan on brewing a fresh batch of Slobberknocker and have the last keg of a five-year-old oaked-aged version that will be tapped.” Sounds [del]delisssh[/del] wonnersh, wonnersh <hic> wonnerful! 
Someday we need a party in Kansas. I don’t get out much. I’ll provide munchies and a place to crash. There’s a bed, a couch, a recliner and a floor.
The weekend may now commence.

The fifty-five gallon marine tank quit siphoning shortly after I changed out the filter sock. Water on the floor. Fortunately I was in the fish room, having changed out filter socks.
I stoped and restarted the return pump and siphon pump several times. Things were working with the return pump at half output and the siphon at full, but usually the siphon has a much larger flow than the return pump, so something was wrong.
I removed the siphon, designed to be self starting, and sometimes actually did, :), and cut it down to a straight siphon with two elbows to get the flow to the sump, and all is well.
You guys aren’t reading this, are you?
I fixed the aquarium today.

It’s cold, and we got more snow yesterday. Not much, but it covered the sidewalks.

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 44 Amurrkin out and clear with a predicted high of 53 and sunny for the day. I am up at this hour due to the fact I was asleep at eight last night. I woke up a little after five this mornin’ to go pee and stayed up because I feel real rested. Yay for that!
No real plans for the day. I might bake a chawklit cake just cause. Burgers for dindin and I shall also prep some beast tips for tomorrow’s N.O.L. Other than that, I may act like MOOOOOM and do a load or two of laundry.
Now I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants sustenance. Then, some form of purtification and onward into the day!
