The Off to work MMP

Howdy Y’all! Irk has been survived. Tomorrow is irk from home day and Moanday is a holiday. YAY! OYKW has a gnawin’ and a cravin’ for fried chikin from the good local [del]hog trough[/del] country buffet so I reckon that’s dindin tonight. Hey, he’s buyin’ so I’m eatin’.

One of my neighbors just took his trash to the dumpster wearing shorts, a t-shirt, and cowboy boots. The temp here on Lawn Guylindt this afternoon is 23˚F
eta - the trash wasn’t wearing the shorts etc, the neighbor was

Happy Birthday Doggio!!!

It’s a good thing other people stay on top of birthdays, or I would miss all the excitement.

Wetone - I hear ya on Elsevier. I’ve been trying to get some of their materials to read up on recent migraine research. They are a pain. Sometimes the online stuff works, sometimes it doesn’t. I may just have to give in and get full subscriptions to the journals in questions. Grrr.

In other news, blurf!

Time to go get my little blind pup from the yard. When it’s sunny out, she runs in circles on the grass. She’s adorable. I should be as happy as she is!

You’re neighbors with Mr. Burck?
That question of do I do the (outside)run I want to do or go to the (indoor) meeting that I should go to on Sunday has been answered with the latest forecast of 2°!!!

I just posted the running pup on Facebook, if anyone wants to see her.

Spidey - you’re doing the run, right? :dubious:

HOME!!! YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY!

I decided to combine my recall check at the dealer with an oil change - that’ll save me an extra trip on Monday. **FCD **has to go get blood drawn tomorrow, so I gave him a choice - we can go to breakfast right after he gets that done or he can go with me to the dealer, then afterwards, we can go to lunch. I guess he’s still mulling it over, since he didn’t give me an answer.

As for supper - dunno. I’s hongree but I don’t feel like cooking. Maybe scrambled eggs and toast? Decisions, decisions…

Home from the good local [del]hog trough[/del] country buffet. OYKW got his fried chikin and I had fried poke chops. YUM! We’s stuffded! I’m also sleepified, so hopefully I shall snooze good tonight.

Supper ended up being sammiches. Boring, but I’m no longer starving, so there’s that.

I think I’ll just assume the crochet position for the rest of the night. *** MWAH!!***

LOL!

I got out o work an hour and a half late, the perils of being the boss. I’m having a Ranger IPA, and podering dinner. I think jerk chicken is in order. I might even go to be early ,so I can get up early and maximize my day off.

I got sneezed on by Gordie. Does that count.

“Aren’t you a little tall for a Dwarf?” - Snow White

 And I’d worry if you didn’t BLURF.

We have decided to retire to the boudoir for the evenin’. TBBT will be on shortly and I have a feelin’ sleep time will ensue soon as it’s over.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Gropey, Sleezy, Pervy, Fancy, Gassy, Typhoidy and So Happy.

Hey – you may be right!

I did but I gave mine away during Peak. The lock never worked right and our lockers are so badly secured that you are better off keeping things in your coat. Security can see the coats but not the lockers. :smack: Usually I keep a small bag like the kids use today for backpacks in the car with a couple spare shirts and things.

What the hell is a real backpack, then, you metallic rodent? :dubious:

Haven’t we been thru this before?

I was gonna say Drunky.:stuck_out_tongue:

And we shall go through it, very MMP.:smack:

Dopey! Is that one of the Dwarfs…or one of the Mumpers? I always forget :o

Well its not like he’s gotten any smarter, right?

Sure you aren’t thinking of Drinky Crow? He’s sorta short as well.

Ooooooh!!! Ooooooh, ooooooh!!! I know the answer to this one!!!

Flytrap is a Sweat Hog? :dubious:

I’m just before going to bed a second time. Tomorrow I’m going to call my urologist for an appointment. I was awakened by extreme discomfort, morphing into pain, in my left pelvic region and it lasted long enough I started thinking about going to the ER. Then it suddenly abated, thank God. Considering my history of kidney problems it may have been a stone passing, or something else kidney related, and that scares the crap out of me.

It feels good to be sitting here with only a ghost of what I felt. I hadn’t quite taken a pan pill because if I had gone to the ER that might have messed up any evaluation. You don’t know how good the simple lack of pain feels until you hurt, and it then goes away. Keep your fingers crossed for me that it was nothing much.
