So am I drawing the conclusion I’m supposed to, here? Val wants to have an affair with Darryl? (but is too much of a wuss to actually ask him?)

that’s the affair storyline you’re choosing to fixate on? there’s 3 others!
I seriously hated this episode until the end. It was fun when the team came together and to hear the new girl’s evil plot.
So Erin isn’t planning on coming home from Florida?
Yes. She wants a new start away from Andy. She is in love with him and can’t stand to see him with his new gf.
This episode was just ok. It just seemed like a setup for the next few episodes. Val can break up with her current boyfriend, it doesn’t mean she’ll have an affair. Maybe she will, but we don’t know that yet.
Yes! I’m rubbing my hands with glee. I know it’s never going to happen, but I so wish they would show Jim tarnishing his halo.
Is that what the kids are calling it these days? I don’t think they’d put that on NBC.
What did the woman say on her phone? I got a call in the final minutes of the show and missed it.
She told her friend that Jim and Pam’s marriage had problems and strongly implied that she planned to try to seduce him.
Crazy conspiracy theory that just occurred to me:
What if the person on the other end of the line was actually Robert California, who is somehow setting it up for what’s-her-name to break up Jim and Pam’s marriage. That would explain why he was insisting Jim come to Florida to “play golf”.
I’m not quite sure what his motivation would be, though. Maybe he blames Jim for the failure of his marriage, for some reason?
Maybe he’s jealous of their marriage? Maybe he wants Pam? I thought the golf invite was strange because I was under the impression that he didn’t really like Jim that much.
Wait, when was this bit? Was this the little scene after the credits? Because I didn’t see it. I think I recorded the show that follows, so perhaps it’s at the beginning of that recording.
Yes, it was the last scene.
I think anyone who thinks there’s a conspiracy, or that Jim might actually cheat on Pam must be new to the show.
Anyway, I thought this episode was perfectenschlag (and not in the pig anus way). It was pretty funny, and pretty much everyone got a part. This show is at its best when the whole cast is showcased, even in a minor way (which is partly why P&R is so great. Everyone gets featured in most episodes).
I doubt Kathy was talking to Robert California. She was in the break room when Pam was basically telling Jim she would be ok without him around for three weeks. I like that Dwight has a picture of Casey Anthony hanging up to persuade his team not to go to Florida. Also liked the Nate coupons, or “Na-pons”.
So the only salesperson left is Phyllis, right? Speaking of, Phyllis has been pretty much ignored this season.
I don’t quite see what the second sentence has to do with the first one.
They don’t really have anything to do with eachother.
One was just my opinion, the other I just noticed in viewing it for a second time… Not as evidence to back up my opinion.
I highly doubt she was on the phone with RC. I don’t see how that would make any sense.
Why would she be talking about it being “all expenses paid” to RC who would already know that?
deleted-scenes
Oh I don’t think she was either - I was just toying with the idea. I think she was talking to a girlfriend or something.
