The Office: "Money" (open spoilers)

No, sorry. It didn’t rise above amusing to me. I liked Bates Motel better than “The Radishon.” Juim’s “How are you doing this?” probably exceeded “amusing”, but didn’t make it to “laugh out loud.”

Umm, obviously it is…good observation! You’re a quick one, I’ve got my eye on you.

Are you truly upset on Cubsfan 's behalf or are you just feeling offended today? That was a good natured poke at a fellow poster, not a condemnation of his/her belief system based on a sitcom.

At least Office threads don’t get constantly derailed with arguments about the use of unofficial nicknames.

I practically wet myself during the PowerPoint scene.

Oscar IS a presentation tool. I mean…why would you buy only one magic kit?

Does anyone else think that Pam and Jim are going to end in tears and heartache?

What was the deal with the cases of Boise paper? I did a doubletake on the logo, thinking, “Damn, even Dunder-Mifflin orders from someone else??” But then Dwight said to the sales call “I heard you’re low on office supplies.” Is he supposed to have swipe the customer’s Boise paper??

Schrute Farms Tripadvisor reviews

In “The Convention” last season, Michael scored a contract with Hammer Mill. And in “Take Your Daughter To Work Day”, one of the kids says, “Your just a middle man!” Or something like that. So I understood DM to be a distributing company.

That’s how I understood it as well. The only thing I didn’t understand was that you can see a ream of Boise Paper behind Pam while the paper that Daryl delivered to Kelly last week was Dunder-Mifflin branded.
I’m a nerd.

I agree. I’m a huge fan of the Office, and I didn’t like this episode at all. My boss, another huge fan, loved it.

Michael, in my opinion, was just too pathetic to be funny, as was Dwight. Still, some great scenes (I loved Mose running next to Jim’s car.).

I think you meant that you disagree. The person you quoted “loved this episode”.

I think he was agreeing with the ‘polarizing’ part… and then went on to describe himself as being on the negative pole, or something like that.

I agree. I’ve actually been really pleased so far that Pam and Jim have just been acting like happier versions of the characters they’ve always been, and they’ve avoided becoming too saccharine or obnoxious.

And yeah, I thought that Jim and Pam were always be “better” ones; they’re the ones who make faces at the camera when someone in the office is doing something goofy.

Watching that scene somehow made me think of Senator Larry Craig (R - Wide Stance).

My favorite bit:

Kelly: You have to choose between me and your daughter."

Darrell: “My daughter.”

That is just freaking hilarious.

It seems that this series can do no right this season. The last few episodes have been savaged, here and elsewhere, for alleged shark-jumping and caricaturization of the main players—this one was clearly intended to show they’re still “human,” and yet it still generates widespread disappointment.

I don’t envy the show’s creators at all. At this point, it’s clearly experiencing a downfall induced by its own success. It certainly isn’t perfect (I’m still struggling to forgive the “Michael drives his car into the lake” travesty) but I think it’s still pretty damned entertaining for a network sitcom.

Really? I know it comes down to personal preference, but I’d freely consent to relations with Kelly. Even knowing it would end badly, and that I’d end up being stalked afterward.

Was I the only one who busted up laughing when Michael declared bankruptcy? I couldn’t stop laughing for at least five minutes, and I’m still chuckling.

If you didn’t appreciate and laugh at Jim and Pam’s review of Schrute Farms then yous missed the best part of the episode. It was a hearttwarmingly kind review despite of the irony.

Angela: I’m vegetarian. Is there anything I can eat?

Indian kid: It’s all vegetarian.

Angela: I’ll have a piece of bread. … You used your hands!

Regarding the cat – After Angela rejected Garbage the cat, Dwight left it at Vance Refrigeration. Andy found the cat in Vance Refrigeration’s delivery bay, so chances are good it’s the same cat.

I believe he was hired on originally just to be a writer, and as the case with the guy that plays Toby - they wrote him into the show.

Don’t all writers that get material onto a sitcom get a producer credit? I know that’s how The Simpsons operates.
