Ben Gelber is the all-time mack daddy of meteorlogy and aside from Dave Kaylor and Fritz the Nite Owl is the biggest media legend in central Ohio history. (Yes, even better camera presence than Doug Adair and Mona Scott, more electrifying than Angela Pace and Lou Forrest, more charm than Mike Davis and Cabot Rea, even greater machismo than Jerry Revish and Jym Ganahl)
Ben Gelber is AWESOME and is arguably, the most significant meteorologist of the past century. Aside from being a Columbus, Ohio media legend, Ben has also written two Gelbtastic books on the history of Pennsylvania weather.
In spite of all these accomplishments, the Gelbmeister remains modest and gives much of the credit to Jym Ganahl and the rest of the 4Warn Weather team.
