I’m so glad I don’t have to give a crap about what this guy says anymore after tonight.
I hope Bachmann loses in MN, btw.

Yep, they are there on stage with him, they are placed pretty far away so they are unobtrusive.
Fairly classy concession speech.
So what gives that Florida has been stuck at 92% reporting on CNN for so long?
That was a gracious speech
334 electoral votes if he gets Florida as well.
Oh, and they haven’t called Alaska yet
Well, that was a bland and forgettable speech – a lot like Mittens.
Concession speeches always make me feel bad for the loser regardless of party.
It was a good speech by Romney until the end. Spoiled little rich boy didn’t get the toy he wanted. Back to the private sector for you.
More strangely, CNN and Huffington Post both show the same exact numbers for Obama and Romney, but their “percent reporting” numbers are different (CNN says 92% in, HuffPo says 98% in). Perhaps the total number of ballots cast is not known (or announced), and both are just estimating?
All the missing votes are in Miami-Dade and they’ve shut down for the night (polls were open there past 11p because of the lines).
Okay, 'Pubs. Can we please put early voting hours back where they were or do we continue to be the ass-end of the country?
Is it true that while they hadn’t written a concession speach for themselves, they had a generic one which he just needed to fill in the blanks?
“_____” and I would like to thank you. . .
Some Floridians are still waiting in line to vote.
He looked a bit drunk/giddy. Maybe he had a little boost right before going on–a Diet Coke!
He said all the right things. He seemed a lot more likable just now–maybe because now I know he can’t be president.
Clearly my TV picks up different signals than the Fox pundits have access to. The speech was blah… but Fox is all over it and questioning if Obama will turn around and be ignorant.
(I hate TV. At least on the Internet I can hit re-wind when my brain goes… “did they really just say what I thought they said?”)
I haven’t watched any coverage tonight - this thread has been my news ticker, and I’d like to thank all the posters.
Agreed
Romney and Ryan’s home states all went for Obama. How often does a candidate lose his home state?
I believe the most recent example is Gore losing TN.
I make it 332 with Florida.
