A notice from the Dope that my subscription has been paid! It sure as hell wasn’t me.
Frankly, I’m amazed.
A quick vanity search doesn’t reveal who my mysterious benefactor is. If anyone knows and/or is willing to step forward, please let me know.
In the meantime, I promise that I’ll continue to post as I have in the past. Which isn’t much to be sure, but aparently it’s worth $7.48 to somebody.
And, yes, I will continue my editorial duties here. I look to have a busy day ahead of me (a heavy load at work, plus the car needs a new muffler), but I’ll get to it as soon as I can.

So far as I’m aware, someone has to have your username and password to renew your account. You might want to ask in ATMB as otherwise that should be impossible.
EDIT: Nevermind. It appears that a work-around was discovered.
I very much suspect this is the case. That’s why I still watch the show, but have totally given up trying to resolve any of its mysteries, or even caring.
Oh, in terms of a story where every answer raises three more questions, Lost is still a rank amateur. Anyone who wants the real thing should watch Key: The Metal Idol or read Karakuri Circus (if you read Japanese…) Both of these are masters of the art.

Well, this is one we may never know for sure, but I think it’s a safe bet. I’ll probably consider it answered when we know more about the monster and how it work and why it kills some people and not others.
They haven’t said for certain yet, but this one is a hair away from being Answered. If anyone wants to make a case for it, it could be persuaded.

Oh, I think there’s a real answer here. As you noted, there seem to be underground tunnels for the monster.
There’s also Ben’s stetement that they got more than they bargained for with Walt but your answer is probably a good chunk of it, if not the ANSWER.

I suspect I need to take another long look at the list. I’ll try to clean things up further tomorrow.
OK, I’ve taken a closer look at the list. Here’s where I think we stand:
What exactly was the nature of Locke’s paralysis? ANSWERED
What is the significance of Claire’s baby?
I would argue that this is answered as well. Claire was able to bring her baby to term because she conceived off-island. This is of particular interest to the Others because they cannot. Any other significance comes from the psychic’s prediction which was possibly a fake anyway.
What became of Alex? Is that her with the Others?
Also answered in my opinion. They haven’t stated it for certain, but it’s a safe bet at this point. I’m with Sage Rat on this one.
What was the “room” that the Others threatened Walt with?
Again, I’m leaning towards answered. We saw the room and Alex’s boyfriend was in it.
I’ve discussed the other questions that Sage Rat brought up. I’m leaving these last three open for discussion right now, but unless I hear something, they will be tagged as answered by the end of the season.
Well, Season 3 has come and gone. I have promised to continue my editorial duties here, but there hasn’t been much to edit.
That’s OK. So much information has come at us this season and most of it doesn’t fit neatly into the questions and answers format that we’ve started with. Some people are no longer watching the show. Some just want to watch and be entertained and avoid the in depth analysis.
With the tepid response this thread has recieved, I’m afraid it’s time to call it a day. I could just keep this thread going on my own, but that’s no fun (and frowned on I think). I really hope that whoever paid for my subscription this year isn’t dissapointed by this turn of events.
