There is still a need for people to let me know what they’re bringing, and please get your five dollars per person to me ASAP. I’m going to order the ribs early next week, and there is still much to get in terms of ingredients, etc. So having that money in hand would take much pressure off my purse.

Just to let folks know, I’ve also received payments from Sue Duhnym, Morgyn, OxyMoron and Verrain/TruePisces.

I think that’s everyone, but I’m in Philadelphia right now, and can’t actually check (or checque) who exactly has sent me money.

I will be ordering a mess o’ ribs from the Rib Pimp on either Monday or Tuesday, to be picked up Thursday.

Rain or shine, this is going to happen, folks. Casa Dave-Guy will never be the same.

It never was.

:frowning:

I always overlook the goshdarn MPSIMP.

Mun-cheez[sup]tm[/sup] have been purchased directly from the Utz Factory Outlet Store right in the Utz factory in Hanover, PA.

Robin

Looks like I’ll be attending without the Better Half.

Well? What would you like us to bring? We’ll bring it.

Also. Do you have tenting room?

Anyone needing a ride? I’ll be coming in from the north.

Mrs. Teasdale will be sorely missed.

Ginger, are you seriously talking about actually camping out in my backyard? It’s doable, if that’s what you’d like, no problem at all. If you’re talking about pulling up a corner of the floor and crashing, that’s another story. We’re not sure if a couple of high school friends are crashing as well. But the backyard is unclaimed territory, and there’s flat enough space. Bring an assortment of fruit, okay? Grapes, strawberries, raspberries…we’ll just dump 'em in a bowl and let people pick.

Euty, there’s no doubt that property values plummeted the day we moved in.

Dave, we’re good right now and we think that if we survive Saturday retetively intact we can come back down to help out with the brunch Sunday. Let us know if you would like us to bring anything.

Also, I’m coordinating RT so he can crash at our place.

We actually mean a real, honest-to-God tent.

Looks like we’ll be there for the brunch. Talked to the Car-Giving People (AKA, Verrain’s parents) and it looks like we’ll be able to borrow the car. Now off to make reservations at a hotel for the night. Days Inn in Nanuet, right?

Brunch is on us. Mrs. Dave-Guy will be making “Breakfast for a Bunch” which is a quiche-like affair, with eggs, bacon, cheese, that kind of good breakfasty stuff, and I’ll be making a bagel run to fetch fresh, hot bagels. We’ll have cream cheese, of course, and a coffee cake or some such thing, plus coffee, tea and juice.

Ginger, if you guys want to camp out in my backyard, you go right ahead.

TruePisces, I believe Days Inn is where all the cool (not to mention perverted) kids are staying, yes. Ask Zappo.

Sheesh, I almost forgot.

Spoke with the rib pimp this morning. Ordered 18 racks, which should be enough to feed 54 people. So we should be covered.

Pickin’ up the meat on Thursday.

Thanks, Gorgon - I can be pretty spastic on my own sometimes.

TMI!!!

Actually, as I review the guest list, it should be duly noted that if certain attendees’ racks were un-covered, that might feed another-

OW!

That’s it. I’m wearing two shirts.

Oh come on, Gingy, they’re not that big.

OW!
