Ok, back to work now. RT is on his way to PA now and I’m getting ready to start working on stuff for my kids.
Easter was lovely, we went to my dad and his girlfriend’s house.

Just got back this afternoon from the folks’ place. My brother and his wife & kids were there. The two girls had an Easter egg hunt this morning - I was an evil person, according to my brother, though the kids were thrilled. You see they kept finding those plastic eggs filled with candies and piling them into a basket, then wandering off to look for more, sad that they were running out. So I kept snitching found eggs from the basket and placing them around the room when they weren’t looking. Made the game last a loooong time. Mwahahhaa…er, um, okay maybe it was a little evil. 
We had a wonderful snowball fight with the entire family - yes it was 60ºF and sunshine, but there are still 6 foot high snowpiles on the sides of the driveway. Soooo tempting, and we gave in to it. Fun
Now I have to get myself into “work mode” for the week ahead. Hope all have a good week!
I remember an Easter egg hunt I had at my grandparents’ place in Ontario. My grandmother and my sister and I were hiding the eggs, and everyone else was looking for them. My grandmother had a branch sculpture of a deer, and she stuck a chocolate egg in the deer’s butt so it looked like it was pooping. Haha
I still have some chocolate left over from today.
My smallest clarinet needs a new ligature. I need to find out when the store is open.
Home, exhausted and still stuffded! We’ve got the van mostly ready to go - **FCD **just needs to pack and that should be it. He wants to get up at 5 and head out.
Higgs got to play with Lola, my sister’s Shih Tzu who weighs about half as much as Higgs. We ate too much, we talked about stuff, and now we’re home chilling. Yay for chilling!
Cousin and I had a lovely day. I shall have happy dreams tonight.
I just watched the traditional Easter movie, Life of Brian. I’ve also had two Reese’s eggs because it’s a holiday.
It’s 8 p.m. and it’s still very light out. I don’t like it. Stupid daylight savings time.
Time for Columbo
My mother came home with her bf. He looks rough.
I don’t know what they came for but they stayed a short while and went back to his daughters house.
Sah-son was supposed to mow the lawn but the mower won’t start again. Male HFH should have finished what he started. First time in over two years that he hoisted his ass outside to do something. The when the mower ran out of gas he quit and said Sah-son could finish. I think we will try that next time it runs out. Now it won’t start though, so the backyard will get done eventually. Male HFH will act like he’s done something special by mowing the front yard, he has his lips planted so firmly on my mother’s hiney I’m surprised his lips aren’t turning brown.
So tomorrow I find out what is up with the house. My mortgage guy is going to call the seller and see what can be worked out. The seller refuses to pay for the termite treatment until after settlement, the mortgage company won’t approve the mortgage until the treatment is done.
I’m about to tell the whole damn bunch to go to hell.
I’ve been surfin’ teh intartoobz and got some laundry done. Go Me! Now I’s tahrd and it’s time for beddy bye. Tomorrow is an irk day alas and alack and I need to head down to the southeast forty for a while in the mornin’. Matter of fact that is where I shall begin irk. Won’t be a bad trip though, should only take a couple hours.
Sari hope everything works out re the house. Appropriate/inappropriate appendages are crossed.
Sounds like a bunch of us have had a good day today. YAY!
