I believe that I mentioned in the past that FIL (v.1.0) was a potter. He wanted a hammer mill to grind up clay. We considered making insulation from cellulose, but thought the fire hazard to be too high. It would certainly grind up [del] tibia [/del] tree branches.
It’s been kind of a weird day. I have a group meeting tonight which we might as well just cancel since the notice didn’t go out until Friday I think and there’s probably just going to be me and one other person. Oh well.
Interview tomorrow for a job I’m not sure that I want. At least it’s more good practice.
That really is great news, tugig. We’re definitely hoping that RT’s children will get to spend more time with him one way or the other once I get a real job.
Howdy from da cave! Irk is over for the day. Moanday is done. ‘Tis all cloudy out and rain should be movin’ on in within a couple of hours accordin’ to the weather PTB. ‘Tis already rainin’ up in Ye Olde Hometowne and it’s headed this way. I shall nukeulate the veggie lasagna and toast up some garlic bread when OYKW gets here. I found some nice sharp cheddar cheese slices at the sto’. We likes grilled cheese sammiches with sharp cheddar so that’ll be good tomorrow.
Sari I say if the male HFH is keepin’ his cigars in the fridge then you are within your rights to store garlic under his side of their bed. Better yet, in his underwear drawer. Meanwhile, appropriate/inappropriate appendages remain crossed re the house.

Tomorrow, we’ll clean his bike so he can start putting it back together. So I guess I’ll be spending next Saturday sitting at the Harley dealership trying to drum up business for my sweetie, since he’ll be taking his dad to surgery… Lucky me.
It was my last day at school. 
From now on I’ll have Mondays and Fridays off - well, not entirely off, since I intend to work on various projects on those days.

My mom’s been making it forever - it’s always a hit. Sometimes I got a *little *heavier on the vinegar, but not too much. And it really is better the next day.
Supper was good. Cookies are good. We are beat. Sluggage will ensue tonight. Motorcycle cleanage will fill tomorrow.
I have made that substituting sour cream and a little sugar for mayonnaise.

Had a somewhat silly day- spent half of it digging a pond, in order to rescue some tadpoles what had been laid in a place that shall shortly be drained and used for watering at the allotments. The only other pond nearby is already more tadpole than water, so I though building another was the way to go! Got most, but didn’t manage to catch them all yet. I’ll have another go in a few days.
Then tried to fix my car rear light- a bulb had gone, and as they’re dead easy to replace, I figured I’d do it meself cheap rather than leave it for the garage tomorrow (MOT time, aaahh)… Unfortunately, the bulb was rusted into the holder so badly we couldn’t even get it out with pliers. I wound up doing a frantic drive round all the car parts shops in town trying to find a replacement, but nope, no one sold 'em except the trade places. That’ll be another £20 or so on the bill rather than a few quid and ten minutes work for me. Bah.
Anyways, yay for Rosie apartments, boo to moving, boo to rotten people and hugs as required.
flytrap I’ve made it usin’ **MOOOOOOM[/s] recipe and I’ve made it usin’ oil and vinegar as well. Sour cream sounds innerestin’ however. I shall give that a go.

Had hamburgers for dinner, I had a new mustard that I should have tasted before putting on the burger. I like the mustard but it is more of a chicken nugget/tender dipping mustard than put on a hamburger mustard.
Spent the whole dinner listening to Sah-son tell me about the worst movie ever made, I think it was called* Food Fight*. I don’t know, I just had trouble following the plot so I told him he had to watch Groove Tube, then we got onto Monty Python and the Holy Grail, finally something I can relate to.
I love my son but I just can’t get into the things he is in to.
Thanks Mmmooommmm. I made one tonight using cukes, tomatoes and onions in Italian dressing. It was good but next time I shall try your recipe.

It’s not raining here yet, but it sure smells like rain. Hope it starts soon and comes down gently and for a few hours. From the looks of the weather radar, it’s gonna bypass us completely - that better be wrong!! They also better be wrong about tonight’s low: 27°F??? * Seriously???* It’s in the low 60s right now - we’re going to have a 30+ degree difference? STOOPIT WEATHER.
Higgs started fussing around 4, but **FCD **shut our door so we could barely hear her, and I managed to doze on and off till 5:30, which worked. She’s been fed, I’ve been fed, and my sweetie is still sleeping. I have no idea when he came to bed - I was out shortly after 9. I was tahred!!
Today is clean and start to reassemble the motorcycle day. I’m also hoping to get some studio time. We’re going to the gym first off, and I want to stop at FoodLion on the way home for a few things. Then we’ll probably not leave the house for the rest of the day. Which will be fine, assuming the stoopit rain will actually come.
