We just went through our worst slump in 5 years, and we’re now out of it. And what did the Phils manage to do during that stretch? To pull two games ahead?! And that’s now one game? ::giggle::

Yes, kids, it’s that time again: time to bump this thread. Just moments ago, the Philadelphia Phillies defeated the New York Mets in 11 innnings, 9-6. Earlier this evening, the Atlanta Braves barely showed up in getting beaten 7-0 by les Montreal Expos.

So, that brings the Phightin’ Phils back into a phirst place tie with The Team That Forgot To Hit, the Braves.

Magic number is now 32. Believe!
