It’s not a good sign that I had to check my phone to see if it actually is Sunday.
It’s a frosty 24 degrees out with a projected high of 46 degrees. I have to go out today so 46 is good.
I have multiple things to do today and need to work out a schedule of what to do when. I hate schedules, I’ve gotten spoiled to a free form lifestyle.
Printing printing printing!
It took me an hour to print out a bunch of forms for tomorrow.
You’d think in this electronic age I could just send an email with the appropriate forms attached.
I have an appointment to refinance my truck. Sah-son isn’t going to be happy but I’m making him go with me. I have to reopen a share account with SECU and he is going to be on it too, as well as he needs to get familiar with the loan process.
Went to see a play last night. Two plays, actually. Two of my friends, a guy and a girl who have been together for a while now, had started a new theatre company. After the last play, the guy proposed to the girl!! It was beautiful.
After the plays and the proposal, some of us went to the guy’s parents’ hotel room for a little reception. good times.
I still don’t get it. I don’t knit while people are whacked, and with the exception of the low hanging <snerk> fruit, my listees have this odd habit of continuing to breathe.
Howdy from da cave! Mom (N.O.M.) was not feelin’ well this mornin’, as in not sick, but allergies actin’ up coupled with bein’ tahrd from over doin’ it the past few days what with cookin’ and such. Thus, I did not go deheathenate with her. Instead, I headed on back to da cave. I’ve had a hot shower (decided to just brush my teefs and shave my face at Mom’s), a sammich and and now all relaxated. I foresee nappage in the very near future.
Yays, boos, hugs, gropes, nougies, wedgies, trouts, chitlins, how you doin’s as needed.
I’ supposed to go to lunch or dinner or something but nothing has been decided which makes it hard to schedule around it. So I will start organizing all the hospital bills/doctor bills.
It’s funny to me how I am so anal about money and bills and paperirk,it has to be organized and done exactly right, but I’m free form when it comes to time and I hate being a slave to the clock.
My God, I must have the 2 dumbest dogs to ever walk the Earth. The door bell rang, and they immediately went into attack mode, “I’ll tear 'em up for you right now, Dad!”, and they WOULD NOT BACK DOWN. The caller was a Boy Scout we know, peddling oranges…
Penny the mostly-wire-haired-Dauschund was closed up in a bed room when the only group of tricker treaters came; she slid the door open and beat me back to the front door. I held her in one arm and proffered the candy with the other.
When someone comes within sight of the porch, she runs out and barks. Her comrade Mina runs to the porch and barks, “Get 'em, Penny, get 'em! I’m right behind you!”
FINALLY DONE!!! I just started the kiln, and I figure it should finish its cycle about 8 tomorrow morning. I won’t be able to unload it till Tuesday, but it’s done and that’s all that matters.
Turkey carcass is simmering away - the pot will go into the garage for the night - it’s pretty chilly out there so it’ll cool down during the day and **FCD **can stick it in the fridge when he gets up tomorrow. I’ll deal with it when I get home.
And I’ve hemmed 4 towels that have been special ordered. I’ll stencil them tomorrow. For tonight, I’m going to assume the knit position and try to relax. Busy, busy day!
Who’s taking tomorrow?? <squinting thru the cybermists>
