The pre-hijacked/tetched in the head MMP

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffienatin’ at mom’s place. 'Tis 32 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 57 and sunny for the day. Not bad at all.

Sis, niece, and I had fun last night talkin’ and gettin’ stuff ready for the big feast. BIL went on to bed as he had to be at irk this mornin’ at seven, poor thing. However, he’ll be off around eleven this mornin’.

Yay for lesson plans done StickyBuns.

MOOOOOOM ick! However, can ya blame Higgs. After all would you want to go out in da yahd and poop when it’s below freezin’? :stuck_out_tongue:

Yay for bein’ almost done with the movin’ Jim! Hopefully by now you are all the way done.

Ok, Ima go surf a little bit then I should go purtify for the day, I reckon.

Happy Sattidy Y’all!

Happy Saturday!

It’s a sunny 28 degrees with a projected high of 40.
Sah-son wants to go to the store today, it will be when the temp is closer to 40.

Other than that all I will be doing is irking.

blurf

Well we are almost done. Computer Geek twisted his ankle at the bottom of the stairs so three items remain. I am happy, I have space.

Mawnin all and Happy Caturday

Coffee!

Jim

Morning. I’m up and caffeinated. Gonna do laundry then go to work.

swampy, I don’t poop in the yard when it’s 78 and sunny.

Congrats on a finished lesson, Sticky!

Congrats on the almost finished move, Jim. Was Computer Geek wearing a red shirt?

Moooommm!, hope the penguins sell well. I still have the FairyChatMonster(which Gordie fears) and the mugs(which Gordie is apathic about).

We now have a new (to us) pop up trailer set up in the back yard airing out. He included an air mattress, but neither of us like sleeping on them, so we’ll look for foam mattresses. There’s a space in the top where the mattresses fit, as long as they’re not too thick.

We’re going to make a power cord attach point but we won’t bother with any plumbing. We’ve got a porta-potty that will suffice for night time emergencies - don’t wanna get attacked by wildlife on the way to pee!

And we’ve got a 10X10 tent that I bought for doing craft shows - we can set it out outside the camper. I’m going to make screen curtains for the tent - it should be nice! And lucky for us, we still have a lot of our boat stuff that can be used in the camper - specifically galley gear. So we have adventures ahead in our retirement years. Woohoo!!

But before that, there’s a lot of cleaning and minor repairs to deal with - like replacing snaps and velcro, and painting flames on it. We’ll see how that goes.

He is* asking* to get beat up by real bikers.

He has a bike and he hangs out with other guys who have bikes - I’m pretty sure that makes one a biker… :stuck_out_tongue:

I’ve finished one monster and almost finished the second. I just put the turkey in the rotisserie. Back to the basement with me…

No, I mean the fellows Hunter S. Thompson wrote about.

The cat can reach up and turn off my laptop wireless.

It’s a sleepy day.

We have brazen mice, one walked strolled right up to Sah-son and sniffed his bare toes and walked away. I think they are laughing at us stoopid humans.

Can’t decide it I want to log in to irk or take a nap.

Break time - I’ve done 2 monsters and 3 pots. I may go down later and do a few more pots.

Turkey is rotissing, and it smells yum! I wish I’d thought to grab some cranberry jelly when I got the bird. Oh well… We’ll survive.

It’s overcast and cold, but no rain in the forecast for a week. In fact, it’ll warm up a bit, then rain. Gives us something to look forward to, huh?

Soapy has made a perfect Hanukkah meal: Gefilte fish, brisket, latkes, applesauce, sour cream, pound cake, and sugar cookies. It looks yummy, but unfortunately I’m not there in person.

Rotissed turkey is mega-yummerrific!! Slightly less than half of the meat is now in the freezer, some leftovers are in the fridge, as is the carcass, which will be tossed with the carcass from my mom into a pot to simmer away tomorrow. Yum!

FCM killded the MMP!
I unkillded it.

Made it home. Oy.

Home from Irk that happened not to be very irksome. I have a gig here tomorrow with the Maccabeats. Might see if I can get a Latke.

Moooom Like the trailer but it needs flames, of the painted kind, shesh folks.

Tired, need to wind down, beer will help.

Jim

Morning all! Is it too early for a blurf?

Watched “Wrath of the Titans” last night, I ddin’t realise the Greeks were really Australians…who knew?

I’ve got a long list of things I want to do today but the rest of the house is still snoozing. Shall I let them sleep in or should I just start clattering around in the kitchen and see if that wakes them up? I have a batch of rocky road to make and also some white chocolate, cranberry and orange fudge to get done. There might also be cookies baked later, and of course I need to vacuum the floors and do the usual other bits of domestic drudgery.

Perhaps I’ll have another cup of tea and think about it.

Definitely not too early for a blurf.

Got home from work 1am, heading back out in 15 minutes, no idea when I’ll be back. Glad I have mondays off… Oh well, I do need the hours!

What an odd dream I was having just before waking. I was flying into London, and the final approach was down a 19th-century, narrow city road - like on the set of a Dickens movie. Yet the narrow road was just wide enough for the airplane, wings and all. Then when we landed, we had to board boats to get where we were going (not sure where that was.) Apparently I was traveling with classmates from my high school days, and one guy asked me to the prom after being goaded by others.

I’m sure that’s just bursting with deep, philosophical meanings and life-messages. Surely my subconscious has important things to reveal, right? Or I could be losing it. Either way…

Happy 1th of December! It’s heartworm meds and flea stuff day for Higgs!! Woohoo!! I’ve got some pottery to finish up and I need to hem and stencil a couple of towels. Plus my sister asked me to make some texting mitts - apparently lots of her friends love them and want to buy them. So I’ll be busy for a while longer. I really need to retire from my good paying temp gig so’s I can make sub-minimum wage from my crafts. Or not.

The house still smells of rotissing turkey. I’m thinking it’s because the elbows of the wings touched the heating elements as they moved past, coupled with having to keep the house sealed up tight against the cold. No biggie - it’s not like it’s burnt fish or cabbage or something equally icky.

Happy Sunday!!

For those who participate, the new Death Pool is open.

I’m going back to bed.
