It wasn’t so bad. I scored a Planes thingamabobber that seems to increase the likelihood that my nephew will be able to hit somebody in the eye with something, and a four-pack Disney Princess doll set that my niece is probably too old for. So I think I’ll steal Roomie’s Rainbow Loom (which she is no longer interested in, anyway) and give that to her. Save the princesses for somebody else’s kid.
Oldest nephew, bless his heart, is 15. He wants cash. I didn’t even ask him. All teenagers want cash.
This amuses me. I do not know why, but amused I am. 
Also, cherry flavored shrimp does not sound good.

They look tasty flytrap. However, if they really are cherry flavored they might not taste good with cocktail or tartar sauce. Shrimp should be shrimp flavored. MMMMMM… shrimp!
Howdy from da cave! Ima order some hot wings from the Pubic sto’ for dindin just cause I got me a gnawin’ and a cravin’ and also OYKW lurves him some hot wings as well. I’ll nukeulate some succotash to go with the wings cause that will make it all healthy.

Any fish will eat baby shrimp though. Swampy isn’t the only one who likes them.

Today is my Firday, and it’s over. Yay!! I was very busy and very productive today, and I stopped by the store on the way home for a few items so I don’t have to go out tomorrow. I skipped the gym because I’m just suddenly beat and achy.
My sweetie has an earache and I got him some stuff at CVS - hope it helps. He’s trying to sleep now. I’ll be making up some N.O.T.soup in a little bit - definitely the right food for a cold, rainy day. It’s a whopping 37° right now - I think that’s today’s high. The rain is supposed to continue into tomorrow - good for my yard, but not so good for my spirits.
I’ll try to get a pic of our shrimpzilla. It’s a coral banded shrimp and even tho it says they’re usually 1-2", ours is at least 3" and claw to claw span is probably at least 6" - we’ve lost track of how many moltings its been thru. It did catch and eat one of our chromis and it’ll eat brine shrimp if I toss one in the tank.
Have I mentioned that I love our pellet stove?? It’s so warm and cozy in here when it’s on, like now.
ETA: **BBBobbio **- my kid the science teacher would probably know lots more about starfish than I do. Just sayin’…
I noticed tiny sleets on the ground as I was leaving irk, so I guess that we are getting a bit WINTRY MIXED upon. It’s supposed to SNOWtomorrow. I hope it does because that means my first snow prediction was right.
I do have to irk a full shift on Thanksgiving. 
So far. Depending on how many cancellations there are tomorrow. Bring on the cancellations!
But that’s okay, I’ve already made my plans for the day: MST3K and some sausage and sauerkraut. We’re doing it up German Style at the Stately Manor.
We’re promised 1-2" of rain overnight and another half inch tomorrow. Fortunately, the temps are supposed to stay in the 40s, so no freezing.
Soup is simmering. Sweetie is sleeping. Higgs is driving me crazy. Typical evening…

So, is it just cheaper to raise your own shrimp vs. goin’ to the Pubic Sto’ where they’ll steam ‘em for you whilst you finish your shoppin’? Do y’all also make your on cocktail sauce and tartar sauce? Also, I wonder how those skeery fish taste. I know flytrap sometimes talks about fish fry.
Ok, dindin got et and and the other batch of collards got cleanded. OYKW is at his place packin’ to go over to his Ye Olde Hometowne (well, actually it’s more like Ye Olde WideSpoteInTheRoade) tomorrow. He’s leavin’ early but we shall have brekkie together first.
