THE QUOTE GAME

Just a little frivolity but a few friends and I plays this game from time to time on long trips. The rules are simple the first person gives a movie Quote. The first person to guess the cahracter and movie correctly gets to give a quote and so on until someone is stumped or somebody accidentally gives a repeat or wrong answer. The only stipulation is that it can’t be too obscure and the Film has to be something mainstream.
Anyone game?
I want to see how many quotes can be created.

I’ll Start:

“Leave the Gun, take the cannoli”

The Godfather.

“Face it. You’re a neomaxizoomdweebie. What would you be doing if you weren’t out making yourself a better citizen?”

Whoops. I missed the character part. I’m a loser.

don’t forget you also have to name the character who said it.

The first quote was said by Clemenza.

The second is spoken by Bender in The Breakfast Club.

How about:

Is that Gene Wilder’s character (George?) in “Silver Streak?”

If so, here’s one: “Don’t go shooting all the dogs just because some of them have fleas!”

Right movie, wrong character.

Oh! In two hundred years we’ve gone from “I regret but I have one life to give for my country” to “Fuck you!”?

Payne in “Speed”

“Sal, Wyoming’s not a country”

Al Pacino’s character Sonny from Dog Day Afternoon.

O.K., my turn. It’s a brief exchange and you only have to name the actors involved.

“…it’s like…un-beatable.”
" ‘Like unbeatable’ is not un-beatable, Jack."
“I KNOOOOOWWWW that now!!!”

—can’t be too obscure.

“Honeymoon in Vegas”, Nick Cage and Sarah Jessica Parker

“You want to know how good he is? I’ll tell you how good he is. He is better at this than I have ever been at anything in my life. He is better at this than you will ever be at anything.”

The father in Searching for Bobby Fisher.

“You make me want to be a better man.”

Melvin is As Good as It Gets

“I need you to stay here.”
“Why?”
“I hate you.”

Must be too obscure. All righty then…

Same movie, same character, a quote straight from the trailer:

“Evil does not wear a bonnet!”

And also: same movie, different character:

“Who do you think kidnapped us: Uruguay or Chad?”

Mr. Tinkles from ** Cats and Dogs **

The Dad from ** Cats and Dogs **

Hmm…let me see…here’s one.

“You rented my room Mom! To who?”

Alexander Delarge A Clockwork Orange (?)

if correct here’s mine:

“You’ve managed to kill everyone around but like a poor marksman you keep missing the Target. If you want me you’ll have to come down here…”

That’s Kirk in the Wrath of Kahn (ST2). you KEEP … MISSING … the TARGET.

“I’ve behaved so badly. I don’t know how you put up with me for so long. You’ve done so many wonderful things for me, and I’ve never even once said ‘thank you’. I’m sorry.”

No no no kingpenguin

This line is from Mitch Taylor in Real Genius

I thought it was from Real Genius, but I can’t remember the character’s name.

There’s already a quote to be solved so I won’t post a new one, but can we get confirmation of the right answer to this one?

& because I know that I am right I will leave you all with this
