The REAL reasons why girls are better than guys...

LOL! This is great. So many great posts too. A few that I just have to comment on, though:

Re: 6, 7: I love to hug. Almost anyone, anywhere, anytime. I couldn’t care less if anyone thinks I’m gay or bi or whatever because I like to hug all of my friends; male, female, and new friends I just met. And I haven’t turned down receiving a hug yet, nor is that likely to ever happen. And any guy who likes to hug is great in my book, so kudos to you, Dirty Earthworm.

Double Ditto on #10. You are right, Giraffe. Not that I ever get lost, mind you. I have sense enough to get directions before heading out the door, as opposed to wandering around aimlessly in the right state, and possibly the right city.

Good one, MannyL.

I like the way you add, I think, Rysdad. But I don’t think it should count off against us that we can’t write in the snow standing up. I can too! With my hoe, my broom, the shovel, lots of ways…

Ouch, Max. I prefer to think that Mr Bear doesn’t agree with you on that. PPFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTT!

I have to agree with you, Yo la Tengo. I think that those type of shows only show those men and women both in the worst possible light.

The ability to touch boobies anytime we want is a plus, I suppose. But I don’t get much out of touching myself there. It’s a lot more fun to let Mr Bear do that; which he can and does every chance he gets.

NutWrench, while I don’t agree with either your statement or TN*hippie’s, that was a great answer! Cool word play, both of you.

Well, I’m one of those guys who hugs whoever I damn well feel like hugging. If somebody thinks I’m gay (not that there’s anything wrong with that), that’s their problem.

Women rule. It may not seem fair, but they just do. Sorry, guys, but I’m a feminist from way back…when I say “I’m a lesbian trapped in a man’s body,” I mean I’m a hardcore radical feminist dyke.

Look, men go on and on about how “it’s a man’s world” and they run the show and everything. True. Have you looked at the world and how it’s been run for the last few thousand years? I think it may be time for a change.

just a thought,
TN*hippie

“Whatever women do they must do twice as well as men to be thought half as good. Luckily, this is not difficult.” – Charlotte Whitton

Total myth.
And as always, big ups to TN*Hippie, the SDMB’s official feminist with a dick. Much love.

Well, we’ve got you beat there! We can live our whole lives without taking a shower at all if we want to.

Of course that keeps us from getting laid and leaves us single, which removes the whole breasts thing, so…

Damn! We’re still in the hole! (Though not literally, which is actually the problem under discussion.)

I would rephrase the OP’s #5:

5. One thing women can never take away from men: We die sooner.

OK, I lifted that from P. J. O’Rourke, but still, it’s worth quoting.

You ever need to pee really badly, and you go into the (restaraunt’s, supermarket’s, coffee shop’s, etc) little bathroom, lock the door, kick up the lid and lo-and-behold it’s hopelessly clogged with toilet paper? Well us guys can just pee in the sink.

That and periods are totally worth losing that eight or so extra years.
