I had no idea bears made that kind of noise. Every time he did it I almost jumped out of my chair.

Does a bear s**t in the side yard?
Glad the only thing I have to deal with is skunks and and the occasional fox.
Please tell me he was taking the video with something like a selfie stick, and not crawling under there with the bear.
Yeah, the first time I saw that video, my first thought was, “You ARE aware that that bear could slap your stupid head clean OFF without all that much effort, right?”
He was sticking a selfie stick between the steps. But he was still really unclear on the balance of power. That bear could have gotten him easily. If it had gone out the side it could have been over that rail in a flash.
It’s lucky for him that the camera scared the bear so much. It must have thought it was an eye, and this was some new creature, it was plainly terrified.
Was the bear using that space as a den for winter?
I would have never approached that bear. Too scary for me.
You wouldn’t have got me in there with a fifty foot selfie stick. I admit it’s some great footage, but talk about risky.
