Evil fucks screwing democracy
Still a Republican? Fuck off you sick fuck.
Here are the jackbooted thugs you always whined about. Turns out, they are you.
@Deeg, your boys at the GOP have made the most basic of charities, the giving of food and water for the needy, illegal.
This can be described as evil, especially given the lessons and actions of the Sermon of the Mount.
And given that it is done as a naked power grab, openly, with no shame, that too speaks to the evil of the GOP and its current members, damned to Hell the lot of them, all 74,000,000+.
I think the next law will not be so subtle. They’ll propose a color card at the voting booth, and you must have a lighter complexion than the card in order to be able to cast a ballot.
The silence from the rest of the GOP, politicians and voters alike confirms that they are just fine with this evil policy.
I guess they’ll justify it by thinking “Well ,Jesus taught us to never give food or water to anyone, so screw them.”
’ And we wouldn’t need a card if you tree huging commies didn’t ban paperbags!’

On an unrelated note, does anyone have a list of fast food burger places that pour Pepsi products instead of Coke? I’m not quite ready to boycott fast food burgers, if it can be avoided.
Check out this link:

Huh. So, no burgers, I guess, but all the tacos and Beef’n’cheddar sammiches I can stomach.
Dang.
No Dunkin’ Donuts, either. Inspire Brands, owners of Dunkin Donuts, Arby’s, Jimmy Johns, Buffalo Wild Wings, are boasting that they helped prevent inclusion of the $15 minimum wage in the recent American Rescue Plan. They’re also lobbying against the PRO Act.
I could have sworn Wendy’s was Pepsi, but apparently it was just a childhood memory.
Turns out that Das Wienerschnitzel pours Pepsi, AND they serve burgers as well as hot dogs. Don’t know why they’re not on that chart.
Well…if you want to call them that. Maybe it was just the particular branch I frequented, but the couple of times I tried a DW burger in my youth it had a distinct flavor of…grey. Virtually flavorless in a weird and vaguely disturbing way. I was straight-up DW corndog fan, but it was big nope for me on the burgers. Then again I haven’t been to one in maybe 15 years, so perhaps things have improved .
Absolutely. Look, there is real risk of recidivism - I get that. But child molesters are not who the efforts at restoring voting rights are about. You don’t want convicted child molesters in society? Don’t let them out of prison. Ever. But don’t obstruct other convicted felons from being able to change direction after serving their time. That just makes crime their only opportunity.
So, the Republicans lose a fair election, lie that the election was rigged, try to pressure Republican officials to decertify the election results and substitute their own electors. When that doesn’t work, they encourage an attack on the Capitol building and threats on Congressmembers and the VP. That didn’t work, either, so now their approach is to change election laws to make the kinds of election interference that Trump tried the actual legal process. They are replacing those Republican officials that had integrity with partisans who would overturn democracy and they are putting in place a legal process for state officials to throw out local results and substitute their own.
And they are trying to limit voters’ ability to vote - reducing access, reducing access times, limiting mail-in voting and drop offs, and now making it illegal to give out food and water to the voters waiting in the long lines that they created by reducing polling sites. All in the name of vote integrity without any credible evidence that the steps are necessary.
So, any Republican defenders out there? Anyone left who disagrees with the thread title now?
Along with the evil main course, let’s not overlook the side dish of rabid misogyny. The Michigan GOP cannot stand that the governor is a woman, and popular and will not be intimidated. They’ve been denigrating her at every turn since her election, but calling her and two other female elected officials witches who should get ready for burning at the stake is a new low even for them. This isn’t just name-calling, it’s dangerous. There’s already been one plot against her life foiled by the feds. Who knows what other lunatics might be planning, encouraged by venom like this? Weiser has sort-of apologized but he needs to be fired, to make the point that this kind of garbage will not be tolerated.
He was doing the job he was hired for just following orders like a good soldier.
He is not an employee, he is the chair. He has to be voted out or resign.
But his views are in line with the GOP.
“Fired” is a vague term that could mean “voted out” or “impeached”. However, his views are in line with the GOP. Most of the crowd was laughing or cheering at his use of the word “witches” and references to burning at the stake.
And his comment about “assassination” would be ridiculous over-the-top-rhetoric except for the fact that gun-nut Republicans have already plotted to kidnap, try, and execute the Governor. This kind of political environment leaves no room for dramatic license or hyperbole. There is no nuance, no humor, no exaggeration with the crowd that has jumped beyond reason into nonsense like Qanon and Trumpism.
I’d say that’s just one more serving of the evil already under discussion. I suppose it’s a different dish of the same ingredients - like Taco Bell.
Huckabee reveals himself as a racist.
Soon the list of things Republicans are supposed to boycott will include almost every company in the USA. Good. They can fuck right off out of the country then. Boycott everyone and just fuck off.
