This probably belongs in the Roe v. Wade thread over in Politics, but my feeings are more suited for the Pit. Fuck Republicans who wanted this outcome in the name of “precious lives.” Is this little girl’s life not precious enough??? And what is going to be done about the rapist?

Has the medical protocol for induced abortions changed over time? App 30 years ago I found myself very inconveniently pregnant (then husband had left me and our other kids at various times and for varying length of times) and when I sought an abortion was told that 6 weeks gestation is actually more dangerous for the mother than leaving it until 8-10 weeks.
Is this still the case?

And for a 10 year old? C’mon! It’s not like she’s had all that much experience with menstruation in the first place.
