I’m comin’ in to whinge a little bit. Part of the reason y’all are here is to listen to whinges, so deal. 
Ok, I have a participant, an 88 (this is not a Nazi stormtrooper reference) yr. old man. He’s become a little bit of a problem at his trainin’ site, said trainin’ site bein’ in the same place as the orifice is located, which is a Georgia Department of Labor. He does his thing in the file room for the GDOL. He has become somewhat of a nusiance. He’s been gettin’ into other people’s stuff, goin’ in offices (a big nono we’ve had several talks about), tryin’ to tell others how to do their jobs, and the latest, goin’ and gettin’ all the painters who are in the place to paint again this weekend into the file room to “tell them” how to paint the room. A room, btw, that is not bein’ painted. Also, he accused someone of takin’ his iced coffee from the breakroom. Plus there’s the little matter of him bein’ caught takin’ food and drinks that belonged to others from the fridge. Anywho, it’s all come to a head this mornin’. They want him out. I fully understand that. Thus, I need to find another place for him but that’s gonna be some kinda tough. I had no choice but to place him on leave of absence until I can find a place. It really bothers me to do this as he sorta reminds me of my own father, may he rest in peace.
Thus endeth the whinge.
On the plus side, [del]minion[/del] assistant gave me some chawklit cause it looked like I needed some. That made me smile.
Had an incredibly bad work day yesterday. Incredibly bad… 
Came home and watched the Seahawks game. Seahawks won. 
Packers lost.
After I have one more cup of wake the hell up, I shall shower and drive over to Tacoma to pick up yet more death certificates. Sigh…so sick of estate shit.
It sounds like FCM is having a very nice time. I can’t wait to see her pictures. She is going to share her pictures, right? She better share her pictures.

Rosie, I hope you’re feeling better today. I’ve lost my balance and fallen more than once, so I’ve been there and know just how you’re feeling. Last time, I conked my head on the side of my bedside table, had an awful bruise on my jawline for a week or more.
Swampy, why is an 88 yr. old man having to work?! Good grief!!He sounds like he might be suffering from the beginning of Alzheimers or dementia, btw, although IANAD,. LOL
RIP Joan Rivers - she will be missed, but we have plenty to remember her by. I had no idea that she was an accomplished actress, although my gosh, she certainly showed it frequently. LOL I think she would be glad to know that she was still making folks laugh.

It looks like I’ll be cutting out early today. I got the annual clean-out-the-shared-drive-departmental files kicked off today. It’s amazing some of the stupid stuff people find to put on a shared drive when they have an individual drive available. :smack:
I am taking all y’alls ideas under consideration.
If nothing else I gotten some much needed giggles.

Around here, IKEA delivery is by courteous, efficient self-service. Or by utterly disorganized people who can’t be trusted to tie their shoes, much less tie seven boxes to the top of their car so they don’t slide off at the first left turn.
Full-time telecommute seems to be getting closer to reality. I was copied on an email that said our people in another state were being asked to go full-time to resolve an office space issue. Sounds like one of our locations will soon be nothing but contractors.
Go Me! I found a place for my 88 yr. old man to go startin’ Moanday. Hey, if a Council on Agin’ can’t deal with an 88 year old man, who can? He will be doin’ a lot of filin’ which he likes. When I talked with him earlier, he still had two more hours to go but since I was told they wanted him gone, like now, I had to go ahead and do that. Anywho, I called him and told him to go on over to the COA so we could get paperirk stuff done this afternoon. [del]Minion[/del] assistant is handlin’ that, cause, well, that’s part of what she does. So, that two hours he didn’t do (this is timesheet due day) I’m givin’ him as non-host agency training as it’s stated on the timesheet. Ok, so this will not take two hours, but hey, he had to drive over there and back to his place (a whole four mile roundtrip!) so I figure that’s worth sump’n.
Herbs he’s doin’ this because he wants to and he qualified so there ya go. IANAD as well, but I think you might be right.
I have a sorta kinda idea for Moanday. Should the masses give their assent to do so, I could get us started.
I have today off, and have been working on crafts and music stuff today. And doing laundry. A load of laundry just finished, so I have to go collect it.
Much to do today.

Yestiddy I posted the long email as I didn’t get a Mumper update. Thus, this Mumper update includes a little stuff from yestiddy plus stuff from today. I get both, so if’n y’all want to read the long version of today I can post that later.

Pizza for dinner here as well. I wanted Chinese but Sah-son mad a face so pizza it is.
Sah-dog is driving us both nuts, he wants out in the dining room with with Sah-son because he wants pizza crusts. Then he wants to be back in here with me. Then he wants back out, then he wants back in.
He loves pizza crust.
I napped most of the day, guess I needed it.
Now I’ll probably be up half the night again.
I think all dogs like pizza crust.
