The resolutionary-less MMP

Not nearly that colorful, flytrap. More like storm debris in the form of branches, limbs, and little broken sticks. And the sun appears to have retreated, dagnabbit!!

We can all come over and spray paint them for you.
Then Swampy could cook dinner.

Sure - and while you’re spray painting them, you can pile them in the wagon!

No, I don’t think this at all.

I have an older kitty who makes the smelliest #2s known to mankind…and he doesn’t cover his poop because he’s the dominant cat.

It wasn’t so bad when I was in the apartment, but right now we’re in a studio apartment until our new place is ready, and there’s no hiding from it. You must clean it immediately.

Now he’s started doing his stinky “fax to Cleveland” just as I’m ready to go to sleep. Last night he did TWO in a row-- I cleaned up one, and then he went back into the box and did the second one!

Anyway, I scolded him out of frustration. He looked guilty (he always looks guilty). So then I felt bad and told him he was a good boy.

tl; dr – I think you’re just frustrated and I get it.

I wouldn’t go that far. :dubious:

Corned beef is simmering. One wagonload of stick from out front have been gathered. I’ll try to finish the front yard tomorrow. **FCD **came home again to do more machining and now he’s off to PT for his knee. He’ll be working in his shop tonight to get the pieces done.

It didn’t get as warm as promised and the sun was kinda wimpy, but it was not bad working outside. Higgs ran around in the back yard, barking like an idiot, which should tire her out.

All in all, not a bad afternoon.

It is 75 and sunny, I have the windows open. I’ve gotta run to the sto, I’m making cheddar horseradish deviled aigs for the tailgate tomorrow9it’s sorta pubish, for St. Patrick’s Day), and my horseradish is expired.

Moooommmmm!, the ground crew came and cut up the fallen trees, and carried off the sticks from the ice storm. Gordie parked himself stupid. With all the Hispanic guys running around outside with chainsaws, he must have thought he was in a Danny Trejo movie.

Keep going kiddo.

Home from work. The company gave us pizza during our break because last Monday we set a new national record for something. It was nice but --------- cash is nice too.

Arrived safe and sound at the armpit
I didn’t even cuss that much on the way down

I had a nice steak sub for lunch and now I am stuffed, it was a good one

This is one reason why my mother makes me crazy
I can laugh about it afterwards, and she has always been this way, so it is not her age

she says to me

Your Uncle X, you know his brother Y has had a few strokes, he had another one and he went to the hospital and now he can’t talk and they told her, she has a car and an old truck, that she has to sell one of them but her daughter told them that she has to have something to live on.
I figured it out, but my mother is the pronoun queen. I’m surprised she even told me who X and Y are.
One day we were driving together and she said ‘he didn’t do much for him, just had him walk up and down the block a few times’
I finally figured out she was talking about the physical therapist who was working with her now deceased bf.

One day I’lk figure out it’s best to just smile and nod my head.

Tahred. Bedtime! MWAH!

Howdy Y’all! I’ve been AWOL today but for good reasons. First off :smack: on not seein’ Spidey;s OP. I saw last week’s MMP near the top of the page this mornin’ and thought that no one had started this one’s yet.

Irk lived up to its name today. Thursday I am havin’ all the local folks (those that live within 15 miles of the orifice) come in for a trainin’ session/Come to Jesus meetin’. These happen a couple times a year. Thus, today was a day of callin’ participants and host agencies about this. Local [del]minion[/del] assistant is experiencin’ the joy of this for the first time. Lucky for moi, she’s good at explainin’ the term of mandatory, as in lettin’ everybody she talks to know that I SAID it is mandatory and that not showin’ up will result in a three day suspension without pay and yes, indeed, I can do that. Let’s see how many of the twenty-five will actually show up. I’m bettin’ all will, since the last time this happened those who didn’t show up found out I am serious. That was the funness of irk today.

In other news, men’s night over to the church house was a success. More people than anticipated showed up. This was a good thing since da bear always plans for a few more than anticipated. As a bonus, one of the guys showed up with some of his father’s perlow ( a stew of nummy things like snausages, shrimp, beef, rice etc) to share. Since he knows OYKW and I are super fond of it, he brought us some to take home. Thus, tomorrow night’s dindin shall be perlow, green sallit, and crusty bread. I stopped at the sto’ for some green sallit makin’s and crusty bread. Voila! Dindin shall be simple, easy, and tasty, the way I also like my men.

And on that note, I shall now betake myself beddy bye.

Nitey Nite Y’all!

Cold-Eeze really works. All that’s left is the headache from watching too much tv in bed. And soon I can take a Vicodin so I can sleep, so tomorrow I should be all better.

Yay!

Deviled aigs are made, had smoked fish and rice with a slad for dinner. Drinking a beer and watching hockey. Life is good.

Top o’ the morning, and
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Hockey and tailgating after work.

This is the date I’d always make sure to wear red. When I was in school, I wore a button that said “Kiss me, I’m Polish!” Learned that from my dad - he worked for a company owned by an Irish-descended family, and he loved yanking chains! He was a VP - he could get away with that stuff!

**FCD **had a bad night, so by default, I had a bad night. That’s the bad thing about him working - he can’t turn off his brain about projects. He always brings them home, mentally, if not physically. I, on the other hand, mostly quit thinking about the office by the time I got to my car. Anyway, he woke up early and decided to go early, so he’s on his way and I’m breakfasting.

I re-read the directions on my stencil paint and it turns out I don’t have to wait 72 hours before ironing - just before laundering. I’m not going to wash them, so no problem! So I’ll get them ironed and delivered today, along with another bunny that I found on a shelf - I forgot to take it last time. Then later, I’ll rake and gather sticks for a while. Cold front tomorrow, but nice today.

Happy Wednesday!

Good Mornin’ Y’all! Up and caffeinatin’. YAWN ‘Tis 55 Amurrkin out with a predicted high of 83 for the day and sunny. We have a cool down comin’ as well. Tomorrow’s high will be only 75! GASP!

MOOOOOOM it’s Tuesday. Do try to keep up. :stuck_out_tongue:

Today I get to foray into the nawth forty. That won’t be too bad and I should be back at the orifice by early afternoon. All kinds of other stuff to get done as well so the usual sea of paperirk awaits. ICK!

Ok, that’s all I got. I need more caffeine and rumbly tummy wants to be fed. Then, alas and alack, irk purtification must commence.

Happy Tuesday Y’all and…

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!!
ERIN GO BRAGH!!!

Yeah, it is Tuesday. I’ve been thinking about my Dr appt on Weds - I finally get my stitches out. So sue me! :stuck_out_tongue:

ERIN GO BRA-LESS!!!
Blurf.

Chili contest at the orifice today. I brought an entry.

Classy as always, BBBobbio!! :stuck_out_tongue:

I cannot get myself moving today - I’m still in robe and slippers. I should probably create a weekly schedule of chores and stuff to keep myself motivated. Maybe tomorrow…
