Up, caffeinated, and sheveled. It’s my day off, so of course I have to go into work.:smack:
Will you be staying in a hotel, or a bed and second breakfast place?![]()

Happy Toosday!
It’s N.O.S. and cold outside.
Cat might be constipated but the dog isn’t. The brat is suffering the after effects of eating a bowlful of cat food yesterday.
What a delightful surprise to wake up to!
I need to find a better place to feed the cat.
Interesting Nava, what color is used for sad in Spanish?
Sorry you have the blues Butter
I’m not all that fond of Christmas carols either, except for the twisted ones. I don’t like Christmas movies or commercials either. The hallmark channel can kiss my ass this time of year.
Speaking of first world problems, I don’t know what is up with MPT2 this morning. I was hoping to get my Bob Ross fix this morning and they are showing NHK channel from Japan.
Morning all! Thanks for sharing all your stories
sari, Perhaps on top of the washer/dryer?
First on the agenda today: I gotta go pee inna cup. (Drug test for pre employment)
Then to the sto. The funny thing is I got my unemployment yesterday ( I did not expect to & it’s a long story) I had already got the grocery money from my brother… I’m going to tell him I overspent… then give him his money back… I can’t wait to see the look on his face. It should be a good day!
Went to the doctor. Bronchitis. Lovely.
Well, at least I’m still functional, or pretty much as functional as usual.
Got prescribed cough syrup. Apparently it’s the kind that can be addictive, and it even said on the paper it came with that teenagers sometimes seek it out. My my.
Sometimes Fedex delivers to the Post Office for local delivery. It is marked “delivered” in that case.
He is to go to guy for tarantulas and spiders.
I put a cheap plastic stack of drawers in the dining room and that’s where our cats eat. We used to feed them on a half wall, but I needed a place to store yarn, so this does double duty. Do you have a small table and an unused corner?
I’m totally unproductive at the moment. CREO crashed for all of us, so there are 7 thumb-twiddlers wandering about listlessly. lalalalalalalalala I figure it’ll come up in time for my lunch break.
Fly by, busy week. Hugs and punches and any other appropriate response to everybody!
Both my washer and dryer are mini versions. There isn’t much room on top of either and the dryer is a bit wobbly (and usually has clean clothes on top of it).
There is a vanity table in the kitchen, I’ll try there.
I was going to feed him on the stairs because the dog won’t go there but they are carpeted and the cat makes such a mess we’d have to vacuum several times a day. He is not like Percy, who never left a crumb anywhere.
I hope you feel better soon Midget
I got bronchitis lot when I worked in the corporate world, and it’s no fun. I used to get cough syrup with codeine until I found out I am allergic to the stuff.
I have much to do and no motivation to do it.
I’m sorry about your friend, doggio.
BooFae, New Zealand has hobbits?!!! I didn’t see THAT in the brochure.
sari, if that’s a typical expression, Judge might be a good name for CwNN.
Nava, would you call your male cat Blue or Azul?
{{{Emily}}}
I’m well on my way to being able to clear my desk today. Other than that, it’s the same old-same old.
According to the tracking info, it did go to the P.O., and then out for local delivery, arrived at 7:30. But, wherever it arrived, it wasn’t my front porch. I’m hoping whoever got it will be honest enough to return it. There’s nothing perishable, thank goodness.
Oh, well. It’s a blustery morning. Kitties are annoyed at having their fur rearranged by the wind. At least there’s no rain.
Sah-son finally got his grades. All A’s so he is happy.
I’m happy he’s happy.
He is a mostly serious looking cat Red.
I was calling him Moochie for a while BooFae because every time I would eat something he’d be trying to stick his nose in it. After a while he figured out that most of what I eat is pretty yukky to him so now he doesn’t even bother.
I’s love to go to Australia or New Zealand one day, if only there was a way to get there without traveling.
blurf I do have the blues. No doubt. Also, I want to live alone.
{{{Butters}}}
You can come stay with me, which is kind of like living alone, only better because my son does all the heavy lifting and yard work.
Kind of like living alone, save that there are never any clean towels.
So the truck never showed up, and the warehouse wasn’t answering emails or the phone. I blew a day off for nothing.:mad:
So I guess you’re keeping him. For at least another semester. ![]()
Sometimes alone is nice.
Jim Morrison probably did a song about that, but I wouldn’t listen to it late at night.
Sorry about your friend Doggio.
{{{Midget}}}
I just this afternoon got a package for someone a block away. Guess the package guys are all running around like nuts right now. I will run it over there in a bit.
No, not funny at all. Be comfortable. ![]()
My parents used to put us in the car for a month every Summer. By the time I graduated high school, I had been 47 states (excepting Hawai’i, Alaska, and Florida) and goodly number of Canadian provinces as well. I’m not sure I was a fan at the time, but hubby and I have decided to do the same with our kiddos. ![]()
The snow stuck around for several days before it finally warmed up to 37 or so while raining. It’s almost all gone now.
This afternoon I think we’re going to go trade in our Odyssey van for a used Suburban. We want 4WD and more towing capacity. I hate the Odyssey, all things considered. I think it loses traction when you whisper the word “ice” or “rain” or “hill”. I won’t miss it a bit. ![]()
Did they stuff you into the back of a station wagon in your pajamas? Oh, the shame!
butters, while living alone does have its benefits, there are sucky parts too. I have to [del]kidnap and give orders by gunpoint[/del] persuade nephews or young, strong friends to help with things like rearranging funiture or other heavy lifting, you don’t always have someone handy with a spare set of keys and you eat leftovers a lot if you like to cook.
The floors are swept, the microwave cleaned out, lemons and limes cut and supper fixed. I’m putting together a teatime box for my SIL for Xmas tonight. Easy night.
