It’s an exciting time to be a Commanders fan, my friends.

With the Commanders win, the Divisional schedule is set. Early game Saturday is Chiefs/Texans, late game is Lions/Commies.
First game Sunday is Eagles vs winner of Rams/Vikings, and second game is Bills/Ravens.
Next weekend schedule is set; lines according to DraftKings
Texans @ Chiefs (-8.5), Saturday, 3:30 CT
Commanders @ Lions (-7.5), Saturday, 7:00 CT
Rams/Vikings @ Eagles, Sunday 1:00 CT
Ravens @ Bills (-1.5), Sunday 5:30 CT
I’m not a Commanders fan but it’s still a fun team to watch, and I was glad to see them win after that 3rd and 1 bit of heroics from Jayden Daniels to set up a game-winning short FG.
I liked how they had an old veteran in Bobby Wagner next to a rookie in Daniels after the game.
I’m glad the Commanders won for multiple reasons: I’m tired of the Buccs, I didn’t really want to watch Lions play the Vikings again, and I’m more confident in the Lions’ chances against the Commanders.
Eeeee! Sorry. Always miss his first name. But I always think Steve Miller if the Pack are winning. Jordan love / Drivin me mad / Making me crazy… ![]()
Just learned there’s a glimmer of hope for Browns fans. DeShaun Watson re-tore his achilles 8 weeks after the surgery for tearing it in a game. Which means he’ll miss the 2025 season, which is nice enough, but because there’s some evidence (social media posts and the nature of the injury) he wasn’t using the walking boot he was required to use, it very well may be his fault, in which case the Browns could potentially sever his contract, which would be the luckiest fucking thing that ever happened to the Browns, not that there’s much to compete with.
It’s worse when the Packers play the Seahawks and a pass from Jordan Love is broken up by Julian Love.
Not quite a Lovefest. ![]()
I kind of hate myself for chuckling at the deeply stupid joke of playing “Love Hurts” during the broadcast today.
Maybe they lost yards due to penalties?
You can say that again! That was a little nerve wracking.
It’s been many years since Doug Williams, Joe Theismann, and Mark Rypien.
That’s not as bad as the point in the Commanders game where I looked at the TV and saw someone named Payne was on the sideline in agony.
(He apparently dislocated his finger.)
What’s the O/U on the number of hot takes in the next week that lean on Josh Allen’s “intelligence” versus Lamar Jackson’s “athleticism”?
I am predicting two upsets next week: Ravens beat the Bills and Chiefs lose against the Texas.
To be fair, it’s a lot to ask even Mahomes to go up against all of Texas.
That’s not an upset - the Ravens are favored by 1.
True, but I think most people think the Bills will win.
I am hoping not.
I definitely don’t. I HATE the Ravens but I picked them in the Super Bowl contest. Most solid team I’ve seen all season
