I heard that Hasbro and Parker Brothers are merging, in an attempt to take control of Matell.
It’s all part of their plans to create a Game Monopoly.
Then it will be eaten by Muslim babies, and might be a cure for humorlessness.

That remains to be seen. An influential Nigerian institute that’s trying to stop that from happening contacted me via e-mail. I contributed $2,000.

I can’t believe I got a special mention in the OP and yet couldn’t get to this thread before it hit page 3. You’d think the mods would lock everyone else out of a thread until I got to the front of the line, or something…
There was a Language Log post about this very thing a while back, but since I can’t recall the technical term for it or the examples used in the article, I couldn’t find it. Oh well…
Anyway, “Chicken Littles” is clear and easily understood, while “Chickens Little” feels unwieldy and archaic to me. I think pedants on either side of this one don’t have a leg to stand on.
