He did follow her to spat on her face again, I think she was experting that slap to be the end of it, but she was wrong.
Of, course. But here you should realize that many that are coming here and arrived to the opposite of what you are concluding were not retarded, just more informed; it seems to me that many had seen videos with more footage and were appalled and against Ray. And it should had been a big clue x4 that you are wrong and this is not an ad populum argument.
It’s really quite incredible that The Second Stone is so hyper-sensitive about wrongs done to Palestinians, while being utterly asinine about those done to women.
I’m very glad I don’t know this asshole in real life, since it really appears he’s mentally defective in a variety of very unpleasant ways.
How many times does Ray Rice just happen to bump her unconscious body with his feet, on top of everything? For an athlete, he seems to have real difficulty knowing where his feet are, what with the nearly kicking her again and again and again. He steps over and around her like she’s a bathmat.
Yeah, that’s not what he’s saying. But if that’s the scenario you’re painting, then anyone who defends Ray Rice for any part of that incident is in the same boat as The Second Stone, yes? Because Ray Rice could have NO justification for what he did, given your scenario. Anyone putting up an OP about Ray Rice regarding that incident is putting up RO because there’s only one side of that story. I’m just trying to clarify why you picked out The Second Stone for this Pitting.
Giraffe is not someone I take seriously. Nor you for that matter.
You think a person is shitty, as a person overall, for having an opinion you disagree with strongly? Okay. I think that says a lot more about you than it does me. And you’re name calling and judging someone on a disagreement about the interpretation of a video also says more about you than I imagine you would like. So get up from your computer, go look in the mirror and say “I called a person a shitty human being, as shitty as a wife beater, not for hitting anyone, but for having an opinion that a particular incident caught on videotape was not as clear-cut as popular opinion would have it. That opinion makes him shitty and worthless as a human being, and I am proud to have said these things about another human being I have never met or seen any of the good things he does.” You are welcome to hold that viewpoint. It is a free country. But again, it says more about you than it does about me.
Clearly, you have problems relating to other people, but I don’t think that makes you a shitty human being on balance. I don’t even know you. Nor have you posted anything that would lead me to believe that I would like to know you or that anyone would benefit from knowing you.
I’m a solipsist and Giraffe has known this for a long time. Everything in the whole universe is a manifestation of my consciousness, including Giraffe. And Ray Rice and his lovely wife. It all comes back to me. So Giraffe has no choice but to follow me around the internet and attack my weakest arguments because they are the low hanging fruit. Kinda odd for a Giraffe to go after the low hanging fruit, isn’t it? Not when you consider that he really isn’t a Giraffe at all, but a figment of my imagination, and that I am one lazy, lazy bastard. Having an opinion after seeing a video five times and all.
This always makes me laugh. As if a person’s opinions don’t color everything about them. Racism, sexism, endorsement and approbation for genocide, these are all opinions for which people should be judged.
Ray Rice might at least have been in the heat of a moment. You are calmly, coolly, and deliberately justifying and endorsing domestic violence. Yeah, that makes you a shitty person.
She pushed him away and went to the elevator by herself. He followed her in. The video quality is bad, but it looks like he slaps or punches her, and she shoves him away again, and yells at him with her hands not even raised.
The only time he “retreated” was to take a step back to get enough space for maximum effectiveness from the left hook. Literally every moment leading up to this, he was either aggressively advancing on her, or actively attacking her. For anyone to call this self defense is just out of line.
See Giraffe, another person disagrees with your preposterous demand that people you hate should be tattooed so that you and your ilk can identify them. And I assure all of you, that I have less flies and stench than any Giraffe in the entire world.
That is how you saw it. I did not see him wind up to a punch, lean into a punch, put his weight behind a punch or punch through her. I see his fist go out and hit her. I do not see him put maximum effectiveness into it, which in a man of his size and conditioning, could have easily broken bones and killed her. I don’t see a desire for “maximum effectiveness”, but what must be for a top trained athlete, an effort that might be restrained. I don’t think that you make your best case when you say it was for “maximum effectiveness”.
Well, then you are no better or worse than Giraffe. You are a cantankerous human being that believes people who they disagree with should be tattooed with information so that they can be sorted out and dealt with.
He’s a jerk and an idiot and, apparently, either high or drunk (I think I would have noticed this much incoherent inanity before if it were the norm). But I think it’s unwise to act like he’s that much of an outlier. Go look at stories of Ravens’ fans defending Rice. He’s not alone.
I suspect he’s an MRA cretin and, sadly, he’s not alone in that, either.
