I got the Helter Shelter over the weekend, as well as many $1000 prizes. No duplicate snowmen or anything yet, but I still have the Yeti, Claus Co. and Plow King on the wheel. I’m averaging about 3-4 spins a day (I don’t have as many friends as some of you).
Regarding Squidport, I got that task at level 15 or 16 but I still had other things to build first, like Jake’s Hair Place and Springfield Downs. Now that those are underway I’m saving my money again to 1) buy the land needed to 2) start building the squidport. The beach property is $19000 by itself so that takes more than a day to raise (although it goes faster since I’ve stopped focusing exclusively on holiday card tasks).
I am OK with everyone not giving me presents any more as well. I’ll still pass mine out as I go to towns, but I’ve gotten all the prizes, so I’m aces.

I’ve had the wheel stick twice on the border between the Ice God and $1000 on the Ice God side and had the wheel count it as $1000–good times.

I’m wondering why MY wheel just has the item I’m missing, and either gift card or $$ spaces, and others have snowmen spaces that they can win over and over. Am I reading that wrong?
Every time I won an item on the wheel it was removed and replaced with gift card / $$ spaces.
I’m appx 500K richer from the fucking $$ spaces so far.

I’ll double check but I never had multiples of the Simpson family snowmen or any other gift on the board, as I won them, they were replaced by tickets or cash rewards.
I got Maggie and Lisa twice. After I won them the second time they were replaced.
All my spaces got replaced with sour grape tokens.
I am the only one it seems that is overdosing on snowmen (and other prizes). I just got my second Snowball II today.
I have no idea what happened to my wheel, but I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t happy about it. I have been stuck trying to get that damn snow bumble (bumbles bounce!), and like everyone else here with their elusive demon wheel prize, I come close to it every time i cash in 5 spins. Like today, for example. It slowed down on the bumble, I thought I won it, and it of course slides off, clicks into the next spot and I win $1000k.
However, for some reason, my wheel has continued to be populated with prizes I’ve already won. Just about everything has been repeated on the wheel 2-3 times.
I have a ton of snowmen, and picking up my second snowball II was sweet, since it’s got that 2% kicker on it.
Right now, my wheel is down to the Bumble, The Plow King, and the Grandpa Simpson Snowman. It will be my 3rd, I think. The rest is cash and cards.
Oddly, I have only seen one Ice God, so I am curious as to what will come up on my wheel when i hit the bumble for the first time.
If I hit the Bumble, I would have quit long ago. At least the extra snowmen have given me a reason to keep playing. I have 3 christmas light facades for the Skinner house, in case anyone wants one. :dubious:

A non-Christmas rant.
I just spend two million “money” on the Popsicle stick tower and it takes three days to build. I am suddenly reminded at the rage I felt with the Escalator to Nowhere and the Wigsphere. If it generates cash like a regular building, fine, make it take a couple of days to build. But at this price, and only Vanity points, it’s a decoration. That should be an instant build.
And yet, I continue to save up for the Cubic Zirconia. Sucker.

Every 24 hours (or so) that little bar gives me a spin. And now that I’ve got all the prizes, every 1,000 gift cards, I get another spin.
Where is everyone else getting all these spins?
All I’ve gotten from my wheel is snowmen, money, and once a gift card. I’ve never received any of the other items.

If you’ve got a hundred friends, that’s 3000 gift cards = 3 extra spins a day.

I got both from the same spin. Isn’t this normally the case? In my case, I rolled Plow King and then both he and Homer had their costumes.
This was actually my first spin when this event started.
