Noticed that my friends list got reordered, which usually happens just before an event. Hopefully it starts soon!
Ten minutes after I post, there’s a minor update. You’ll want Homer and Lisa free to start.
It seems to concern the Super Bowl.
Is this a program written by EA, or did someone else com up with it? And if the latter, how do you know it is safe?
I have done some research, and it would seem that EA does NOT permit you to remove friends (at least no one can figure out how to do it through the current release of TSTO. That seems to be an odd “feature”
I have noticed that a few friends have dropped me, which could mean that someone has consolidated their play from a number of screens to one, or they had someone else they wanted to add… I understand that, since I don’t actually know anyone IRL, but the game gives no indication that you are down a few friends. I happened to find out by accident last night when i tried to add a new friend and it took a new friend. I added three or four new ones until I hit the 100 number again.
There are a few people that I need to get rid of. I honestly don’t even think they are playing the game anymore, because when I hit a house or whatever, it is my screen name that pops up. It looks like I’m the only person hitting some of these towns.
Anyone know any specifics on the program sideshowkar has linked to?

Origin is EA. It’s their online content distributor. It’s like Steam but for EA games.

I can’t seem to get it to load on my iPad.
How do i do this? I followed the directions, and i couldn’t seem to load it and run it on my device.
It is currently sitting in my drop box, where it cannot be opened, run, or accessed in any way.
You appear to have missed the part where it’s for your Mac or PC.

It says that you have to use the Android method now for ipads.
That method seems to be to download the software sideshowkar linked to. I’ve not used it myself.
I saw that this morning, however the very first line stopped me in my tracks.
"UPDATE: Since the update 14th jan 2014 this is no longer an option! "
That seems to imply it doesn’t work, so I am not sure WHAT sideshowkar used.
That link to origin takes me to the same software that I tried to download today and didn’t realize it wouldn’t work on my ipad.
If anyone can tell me how to delete friends on an iPad, i would be very grateful.

I wonder if that’s all there is. I got the update on my phone, Homer was free so I put him on the task. Then a few hours later when everyone else was free I put Lisa on her task and everyone else on 60 minute tasks (not knowing what was going to happen next).
Two hours after that I load up my tablet. It gets the update. Lisa isn’t doing anything, half my down isn’t doing anything and that job isn’t in the task bar so I’m hoping it’s completed, but it’s not asking me to do anything else.
I tried adding you (I’m xamovo), but it said it couldn’t find a user with your name.
I put all my characters on 24 hour tasks this morning, so I can’t start the new update until tomorrow.

Install Origin on your Mac or PC, sign into your account there, and delete all the friends you like.
Well, later on in the night, the next part of the task picked back up. I started a two 2-hour jobs and went to bed. The next part, again, didn’t start.
My account seems to be having an issue with this task. Luckily it’s short, hopefully it’ll get through the whole thing before Sunday and I can get the blimp.
Lisa prompted it for me and they were two 4 hour tasks for her and Homer. I set them on those and I brought my tablet into work today so I can follow up after those are completed and continue. I can’t access it through my company’s vendor wireless so I have to go to another floor where the building has an open network. I know it’s a hard knock life.
Well, I guess this will work, but it sure seems a roundabout way to delete people.
And since my laptop is dead right now, I won’t be able to delete folks for a while. I have been looking for motivation to get my laptop straightened out.
I’ve had both Lisa and Homer available at times since the update but have not gotten any new tasks for them. Is there a level or building requirement or something?
