With this latest update, there is a quest that requires the using of Cletus’ farm to make a new crop. Unfortunately, I started a new corn growing season a week ago. Is there a way to cancel the current grow, and replant something else so I can do the quest, or do I have to just wait until the corn comes in to complete it?

I’ll have the corn pay off in May. I’m ignoring the triffid request (hopefully I won’t be missing something good by not doing it).

Also, i’ve noticed something strange. I still cannot see anyone’s name who has sent me a friend request. Has anyone done so recently and received a message saying something about me being maxed out on friends? Because i’m not.

When I’m in my springfield I see a 1 new indicator on my friend icon, but when I go to my friends page it shows no new requests. Sorry to whoever tried to add me.

This is a fine question.

HAVE they flushed the multiple handshakes glitch? I was hoping it would come back some time after Valentines, but i haven’t seen it come back for the TV station, the farm, or the squid port tiles. In short, the multiple taps glitch seems to be gone forever.

Anyone know if this is gone forever? If so, I may just pull the plug on my corn. I’ll probably let this crop go just so I can always say i grew it once, but i’m already delaying a quest for months.

There is a new glitch out there. You put Kang and Kodos on the 10-hour “exchange protein strings” task and when you get the thumbs up, you immediate go to your character locator and put Kang on his 8-hour task and click on friends or KL shuttle. That traps Kodos in the UFO and every time you leave your main town and return, the money and XP show up like the first time you got the thumbs up. I don’t know if I explained it well and it didn’t work the first time I tried it, but today I had a day off so I grinded them out while I watched tv. I got a ton of money and xp, but it was tedious. Not quite sure if it was worth it, but it wasn’t like I was doing anything else.

Ok, need more info: when I get the thumbs up on the “exchange protein strands” and I tap on them, they’ve wandered (slithered?) off before I can do anything else. If I don’t tap them, they don’t show up in the character locator.

Yeah. I totally missed out on the Squidport tile and multiple-handshake* glitches. I’d like to at least be able to use this one!

Shorter tasks generally carry greater rewards per unit of time, but that depends on one visiting often enough to keep renewing them. In other words, if you’re able to visit twice a day, you’re usually better off with two 12-hour tasks, but if you know you won’t be able to visit again that day, do the 24-hour one. (Of course, as to Actual Corn, presumably anyone who’s actively playing will visit more than once in 90 days).

Does it have to be the friends button? I thought it could also be the krustyland transfer bus too. I put that right next to the saucer, but still wasn’t quick enough.

So if you do this right, you can keep doing it over and over as long as you time it properly?

How do people figure these glitches out? I think EA leaks these things out to a few of the hundreds of websites out there that focus in this game, because you can’t discover this stuff on your own or by accident.

You can hit the KL bus, but my saucer is not near the bus, so I use the friends button because it’s always in the same spot on the screen. I too think someone either puts this stuff in on purpose or leaks the info out because it’s so obscure.
