You get 30 donuts from a mystery box if you “get” Squeaky Voice Teen and you already have him.
My xp issue with EA isn’t resolved yet. I have my fingers crossed for tomorrow. I wish they would just manually reset my xp. I have nearly 7 million bucks saved, just itching to be donuts. I was saving up for Bumblebee man (and I only need 2 for him), but with an Easter update that MIGHT be major (otherwise, why change the splash screen?) and/or Whacking Day, I might hold off in case there is a limited time item that’s cooler.
I agree with you in principle. However, the difference between the TV station and the farm is that the TV station has never been part of a quest (at least AFAIR), whereas the farm has been. So, letting corn grow 90 days is great, unless you have to use the farm for a quest, in which case you either 1) stop the corn growth and start all over, or 2) let it run its course and fall behind with your task list.
But yeah. I have sent Apu on his week long shift and it is a good thing.
Can you explain how 7 million bucks saved can turn into donuts?
I once got 30, and I’ve yet to get SQT. The only reason I make sure to log in daily is to hopefully get the little punk.
Unless its a storyline quest, it doesn’t matter.
Harvesting tomacco or whatever can wait. The 50xp aren’t going to affect anything. I’m not falling behind, I’m ignoring. I still get plenty of pointless character quests.
I am sorry for being completely thick, but I don’t understand this. I just sold a weather station back. I got less than a third of what it cost to buy, and no XP.
I now get it. Ypu get the XP when you BUY the weather station, nit when you sell.:smack:
Yes, it takes me a while, but I do figure it out.
Still, for three donuts, that is a pretty expensive way to go about getting XP, unless you are so flush with cash that it doesn’t matter. And the number of XP needed to get from one level to the next is reasonable.
The weather station buying/selling is grinding. It’s tedious and boring. But what else am I going to do with my money? I don’t do it every time I have a spare $9500, but I wait for about a million. Then I buy a bunch, sell them, buy some more with the extra money, sell them. It works better at lower xp levels. Because my xp did not reset at level 39, it’s not worth it for me to do it now, as I need to get nearly 2 mil to get the donut boxes.
I did finally talk to a competent ea rep today. They said they can’t fix my xp problem but it shouldn’t happen again when it updates “soon” to 4.8. For those who don’t know, there have been rumors about a version update for a week or so, fixing many of the bugs, including the wrong town one. I don’t know if it’ll have content or just be bug fixing, but now I’m super excited. I hope it’s content just so my xp meter fixes. We’ve been getting updates on Wednesday, so I hope that’s true this week.
It’s a Play Store update. That means you have to go and re-download/update the game. Your phone will probably do it automatically in the next 24 hours or so, but you can do it manually if you want it to happen now.
I haven’t figured that out yet either, but I’m not far enough to need to give away eggs. Also, I learned how to swap eggs by accident as well, that was a waste of 50 eggs.
I’m really glad when I started going through towns this morning that I stopped myself after a few just in case there did end up being a social aspect. If I made it through everyone this morning I would have been a day behind. And speaking of being a day behind, was there any point to starting us off with those 24 hour jobs? I can only assume they did that knowing that some people would spend donuts to get started sooner.
One last thing, I think I’m going to go ahead and delete/re-friend all the people who aren’t working. There’s about 10 of you that I wasn’t getting friend points from which isn’t that big of a deal, but I’m not getting eggs from either. So I might as well give it a try.
Ugh. I have 3 hours to go because I started Homer on watching monkey trauma center like 6 hours before I got the update and you can’t store the Simpson home.
