Wait, what benefit do I get from others using my baskets? I thought the ability to exchange from pink to blue (or vice versa) was just another enticement to get you to go to your friends’ towns.
By the way, I try to alternate going from one direction to the other when I go through my friends’ towns.
They put 100 eggs into your baskets and they get 50 of the opposite color back. Yes, you get their 100 eggs once it fills up. 400 eggs fills it up, I think.

I just checked out your Springfield and couldn’t access any of your baskets. There is some sort of glitch associated with baskets. It’s still affecting either you or me.
I also have never been able to use your baskets. Store them and re-place them.
I do this also, but I don’t think it makes a difference in this particular update.
I have also had a number of baskets not accessible when visiting other towns. That is a frustrating bug. I didn’t know it was something that was game-wide, so I’, glad others have mentioned it.
This update has taken the drive out of me. I have grown weary of collecting the blue eggs, trading them for pink, “spinning” the pink wheel to get wither gold eggs or some crappy bonus gift, and then doing it all over again. And getting 500 golden eggs sucks because then you get really pissed when the gold egg wheel gives you something worthless as well.
How many easter ponds, rock formations, and fence posts do you need? And I love how the fence gates are not included in the fence post count. Thanks, EA.
Aside from more things walking around on your Springfield, what does the egg with legs do for you? And what about the woman in the gold egg prizes?
The only thing I want that I haven’t “won” yet is the lego building. If I do this any longer, I may just save up all of my eggs until the last day, and see if EA changes the odds like they’ve done in the past. I’m not going to go crazy for easter themed prizes any longer.
I’m not sure you can store a basket. There was a hotfix last week that fixed SOME of the baskets, but not everything. It’s a fairly widespread problem. If they can fix it, I expect another hotfix this week.
I’m also slowly my will to live with these ‘special’ events…I’m all up for them but not when they become impossible/unattainable if you decide not to max your 100 friends or fork out money for donuts.
I realise that the company behind it are in it for the money and not for my pleasure but it’s slowly turning into a game that is only enjoyable if you max out your friends or spend cash
I’m not sure if I’m doing well with the prizes or not. I have 23 fences, two ponds, three Easter trees and three(?) beach towel/umbrellas - oh and a pile of eggs. But I’ve also won several items that, if not good, are at least interesting:
Obviously I’d like another building or a character, but at least I’m not (yet) buried in ponds and trees. But I’ve probably now jinxed myself.

I’m still active, and I’m kind of enjoying this event. It’s a marathon, not a sprint, so I’m just working away. I like zapping bunnies. 
I just went through the username list from post 2,844 (wow!!), and added a few names. I’ve noticed that I’ve had to hide/delete a few people over the last few months because of non-activity, so I’m looking to add new neighbours.
And I did notice that many of the names I tried couldn’t be found, not sure why? So, if you are still looking for friends, and have a chance to add me, I’d appreciate it. (heater2000ca)

Well, you’re doing better than me, but that is no true yardstick to measure yourself by. I’ve less fences, one tree, two umbrellas, Kang topiary and Bunny. I may have forgotten something, but nothing big.
I got the Lego house yesterday, it should be built by tonight. With that, I am done redeeming pink eggs, I got Chirpy Boy and Bart Jr the other day. Now to try for just the blue prizes I would like. The Egg guy seems interesting. Since pink seems to be my common egg, I will be doing a lot of exchanging over the next two weeks. I don’t really hold out much hope for winning any good gold egg prizes, but squishing bunnies has been fun.
I just now got the Block-o store as well, so from here on I’ll be trading in my pink (common) eggs for blue ones; maybe I’ll get lucky with the Egg Council guy or Johnny Fiestas.
I’m probably going to spend some donuts once the deadline gets close. Still waiting for Chirpy Boy and Bart Junior on the pink side before switching to trading for blue. I was lucky enough to pick up a Faberge Egg from a crushed bunny though.

I tried last night and it wouldn’t let me store any of mine.
I’m also pissed because I forked out 10 donuts for one each of the baskets, not knowing they would be provided during the event

I’m not really feeling the basket love, I must have filled 40 baskets in friends towns but only had about 5 of my own baskets filled. And now I have no baskets to place and haven’t had for days 
If you’ve finished main Easter quest line and have unlocked the possibility of getting the Natural Faberge Egg, you won’t get any free random baskets until you get the Faberge Egg. I endured a week of no baskets until I finally got the Faberge Egg from zapping bunnies. It was rough. I was opening about one box a day.
