Someone posted the dialogue boxes for when you push it. It asks you four or five times if you’re sure you want to store everything.
Looks like this is more than just stuff you can buy. It’s also a more traditional event where you earn prizes by clicking your neighbors.
Glad it appears to be a “normal” event, not that horrible Easter one again.

Am I the only one suffering from ‘not enough space on my device’?? I have 500MB free yet the game won’t load for me and all I get is the ‘not enough’ error message…how much free space is required to load the StoneCutter ‘expansion’?
Here’s a question…
After I started building the stonecutter’s lodge, all other things I could buy or build have disappeared. There is nothing else I can buy or build right now, and nothing appears in any of my menus.
Also, when. I visit my neighbors, all I get is money… Someone mentioned there is another benefit to visiting neighbors, but. I don’t see it.
Finally, my game crashed 3 times on me already today before I could get in and do anything. First time it has crashed like this in a long time.
Anyone seeing anything similar?
Not me. I have seven quests pending. My stonecutter’s lodge is still two hours from completion, though.
I recall the game telling me at one point that since I got the last friendship gift, visiting only generates money (until they add another friendship gift).
I am enjoying this update so far. Two things I’d recommend once you get your Stonecutter Lodge built:
- When you visit other’s towns, definitely spy on the Stonecutter Lodge if available. You get 5 emblems instead of 1 for all other buildings.
- If you’re tapping on other buildings, pick something near the Stonecutter Lodge. The person you’re visiting gets more emblems if they tap the building sooner, and they’re more likely to see your tap near their Lodge.
I need some opinions/help as to what i need to do here.
I received the update, and was able to buy the lodge. Everything that was seemingly a part of this update was in my buildings, decorations, etc.
This morning, it crashed 3 times before i could get into the game. Once I got in, the lodge was finished, so I tapped on it and it appeared. But everything else is gone. There is nothing to indicate this is a Stonecutter update except for the splash screen and the stonecutters lodge.

when i go to my neighbors and hit something, i don’t get anything but money, no emblems. In fact, I have no idea what emblems you are referring to here.

none of the buildings, people, or decorations are available anywhere.
Everything seems to be running correctly, but obviously, something is whacked.
I deleted the game and reinstalled it. After having a small hear attack when the game came up with Lisa standing in the middle of an empty Springfield, I turned off and rebooted my iPad and got the log in screen that wasn’t there when I re-installed.
No crashes, no problems as far as I can tell. EXCEPT the obvious one.
Anyone have any ideas as to how I can kickstart this thing and get the stonecutters storyline to appear? It isn’t a question of memory, either.

That was a pretty bad one. I don’t like any of the “save up and you can get something that takes up space, doesn’t have any actual use, and will just be in the way as soon as the event’s over.” I have all these stupid leftover things like animal graveyards that are just kinda there now.
Also dislike the ones where they place stuff around your town you have to collect. (mine is way way too non-spread-out as well… need to work on that).
I have lost Smithers.
I noticed last night when I tried to make Burns and Smithers do something together, that the task was locked under Burns, and the location of Smithers was *Error.
I forgot about this until just now, so I went to the town hall to find the guy.
Smithers is listed at *ERROR
Well, that sucks.
Anyone have any idea what happened to him?
My game is totally screwed up. I wonder if the Smithers error has anything to do with all the other problems I am having with the update?
I lost Smithers (I think) when he and Burns were having a money fight… Or whatever that task under Burns’ menu is.
…yeah, he went missing for a lot of people (including me) after Easter doing the same task as you. To get him back store Burn’s Mansion, then bring the mansion back.
I had a Smithers problem about ten days ago. I had to store the mansion several times. It seems to have resolved now.
Don’t forget to solve the mysteries as well, not just click the cameras. I won Stonecutter Moe today for solving the first mystery(puzzle) and you get more prizes the more you solve.
Once you have the event up and running, you might be better off leaving all your characters who aren’t on specific tasks untasked. You’ll have to send random characters within a group on a task to earn points.

What I don’t like is that you run out of points you can collect in friends’ towns pretty quickly, and I hit my limit before I was supposed to. But I’m hoping that works itself out in a day or two.
So far this is an excellent event, however the math to complete it without buying stuff is going to be pretty tight.

Thanks. I will try this. I went to the town hall and looked again, and Smiters still read *Error, but I selected it and it went to the mansion.
I will store it now and see if that frees him.
Oh, and for those of you that care, check your settings!!
Fucking EA reset my “confirm donut spend”? Option to “no” sometime in the last update (or probably when I deleted the game and re-installed). In any event, check your settings. I won’t tell you how many donuts this cost me to find out that I had my donut check valve turned off, but it hurt. (It hurt ALOT.).
Considering how badly this event has started for me, It may just be the final nail in my TSTO coffin.
Can anyone tell me when/how things like puzzles to solve appear? I still don’t have things to buy, but the first task that created Homer just kicked off, so something happened.

Smithers was indeed locked in the mansion.
I would have never figured that out on my own.
