I’m loving the secret tasks, but now I’ve got to bring my ipad to work, which is distracting.
At least my task now takes 6 hours “make a celebrity hide in the Simpsons basement”
I lucked out, the first one I picked (Sideshow Mel) was the right one - but then I tried all of them (Krusty, Wolfcastle, Brockman), and now they are all hiding
Yep. You can send more than one celebrity on a StoneCutter task but the first one is the one who will trigger the end of the task. The others will still payout but you will be prompted for the next task by then.
I started it, but I’m only on level 8 so, while I’ve built the temple, I haven’t even started the first Number One task (something involving getting a child to do something, but the only child I can access is Lisa, and she’s in the middle of another task - and I’m not going to waste donuts to end it early just for this).
I read some annoying news; they are about to make it a lot harder to complete all four of No. 1’s tasks on certain days. You can see a calendar here:
For example, this Sunday, there are 20 hours of tasks, meaning you have to start at midnight Saturday to have any shot at finishing before midnight Sunday. That kind of stinks.
Yesterday I did not have enough hours in the day to finish my task. So I didn’t get the last 400 emblems. HOWEVER, it counted as my first task today. Plus I got the chest, so I get emblems from it now. I’m on track to complete, but it does annoy me that they either can’t do math at ea or don’t care.
I also missed completing my last Number 1 task for yesterday but it counted as a completed task for this morning why I logged on. I completed 3 more for the 4 total.
I was kicking myself over the weekend for failing to complete the last Number 1 task, but then I realized that it was because I was out at dinner with my wife, celebrating our anniversary. That’s when I realized I needed to dial back my obsession with this game a little bit and focus on the things that are really important.
Interesting. It amazes me that someone actually figures this stuff out.
I have decided to just leave as many characters as possible free from tasks for now. It just makes it easier to find what I need when the time comes.
i have no idea if I am on track to meet the required numbers of tokens, and I like it that way. I don’t want to have the “stress” of having to meet a daily quota.
I have to say, though, that I like this event more than any other that I have seen so far. No spinning prize wheel has been the key.
