The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Not that there’s anything wrong with this, but it is unnecessary. You can complete the scroll puzzles at any time before the event ends. They don’t expire at the end of the day.

I’ve had a glitch ever since I got the Stone of Triumph that the game keeps giving me the message that I just reached enough points to get it (but no new copies go in the inventory). I’m hoping it doesn’t cause an issue with the next level reward because it still has that one grayed out.

Funny thing is, the more points I get the larger the negative donut amount needed to get the Stone of Triumph right away. It’s something like -50 donuts now. Unfortunately, I can’t tell it to complete and give me all those donuts.

I still say that for purposes of the Stonecutter tasks, Cocoa Beanie should count as a “celebrity.”

And don’t get me started on why he has tasks but none for the Capital City Goofball.

Just collected on this - Thanks **Mahaloth **!!

Grr…I don’t have all the characters to complete all the tasks! I don’t have Agnes because I missed getting the Skinner house in level 27. Now I have to do all the stuff to try to force old quests.

In the meantime…I just finished reading all 67 pages of this thread. I hate every one of you who has been playing long enough to have gotten all the free boardwalk tiles, and have gone through the holidays and gotten all the good free junk and now sit around making money while waiting for more stuff to happen.

I didn’t come in until the end of the 2014 St. Patrick’s Day stuff, and I didn’t get any friends until like, last week. So everything is hard and I am sad. I also only have an iPod Touch so the game is teeny tiny.

Someday…someday I will be as cool as the rest of you!

Some of us were cool before being cool was cool (not me though).
I got the KBBL building just this morning and it’s kind of cool. It pays out like the farm or the TV station, you buy a program that lasts a certain amount of hours and it pays out after that.

I think it’s interesting that the Itchy & Scratchy Studios goes in Springfield and not in Krustyland. It’s been months since I remember any task being specific to Krustyland.

Do you suppose that’s the game designers sorta tacitly admitting they’re giving up on that and it’s just gonna kinda linger there like my stupid animal graveyard things?

When I first got it I thought maybe it was a tangential game they created to go alongside the main game as something for people to do when they play faster than the main game is updated.

There’s a weird second game in Candy Crush involving an owl that you can play at any time, but I play it when I have to wait for people to give me tickets to move on to the next level in the main game. You still have to have lives left to play it, so you can’t just play it all the time (like how you have to have available characters to play Krustyland) but it’s there to keep you coming back every day anyway.

Just a theory, tho. Seems like maybe that was their intention but people are out-playing the levels and quests there too so now they are waiting on BOTH games!

Gil is selling the gold mansion now for 250 donuts.

Yeah about the mansion I can’t find any mention of any benefits. I mean 250 Ds is a lot and I’m not going to waste any just for a pretty decoration.

Ok I went looking and these were the only benefits I found. From the EA STO forums.

Yeah I think I’m going to pass.

If anyone wants friends then add me - Jonjbarton504

I’ve only got one friend.

If you stayed on schedule like I did, you get the Stonecutter Ark of the Covenant thingy today for finishing the Sacred Parchment tasks.

It looks neat.

I took the plunge and nuked the town. I didn’t really like my layout, it was really crowded.

But I underestimated what a hassle it is to put everything back in a way that “makes sense”… so now I’m stuck with my entire town in storage lol

I hate the layout of my town, but the nuke button scares me. It might take foreverto put all that stuff back.

On the other hand, it might be the only way to re-build the town properly.

Well, part of what I didn’t really think of…

Okay let’s say I want to put all the regular houses in a row along a street. Well some are 5 spaces deep, some 4, some 3. They can only be flush on one side. All symmetry gets thrown to crap.

So presumably you fill in the intervening spaces with trees and tire swings and such.

But that’s the part that really takes time.

I got it and I guess it looks kind of neat, but does it actually do anything?

I missed the first few days of the event so I’m not going to get the martian (is that the last reward?) but I’m crossing my fingers I can eke out enough tokens for the table. I’m just short of 29000 right now.

No, the Martian is just a premium character you can buy with donuts. The last prize is a godawful ugly “Satan’s Anvil” rock formation that has been in the files forever. They finally decided to dump it here as the final prize for some reason. It’s huge and hideous and out of place.

Well that’s good news, I won’t mind so much not getting it. I really want the table, though, so I can get the 10 donuts. That will put me over 150 and I think I’m going to splurge for the Cracker Factory.

I finished Stonecutter today completely and didn’t have to use any donuts. This is what I call a good event. It wasn’t super easy to make it all the way to the end, but it also was doable for people who login everyday and play.

If people login daily and play and try hard and they can’t get all the stuff free(EASTER 2014), there is a problem.

I am not going to get all the prizes. I have had more crashing issues in this event than I have in the whole of the time I have been playing. Visiting friends was nearly impossible. It would crash every three or four towns, and then every two or three, and then every town. It was taking hours to visit everyone. I couldn’t log in for almost three days at the beginning. I had to reinstall the game. And again this week, although I only lost a day this time.

I really liked this event. I thought it was well thought out. I just couldn’t get there because of the crashing. I missed completing a lot of Number 1’s tasks and they were worth a bunch of emblems. I kind of gave up on visiting towns because of the crashing. I am going to try a bit this weekend to visit towns. I have some time and the emblems might help my friends get the prizes.
