Yeah, he’s complaining about Bunny from TSTOAddicts. TSTOAddicts does have a really annoying tone. Everything is awesome and amazing and we’re all bestest friends! This is what you get when you have people who are game blogging as their employment (as I believe TSTOAddicts authors are). They now have a vested interest in drumming up excitement and interest in the game to keep the clicks coming. What really annoys me about TSTOAddicts is that they just WILL NOT admit when they get something wrong. Maybe that’s just their personality though, and not their corporate policy.
We’ve discussed Cranky before in this thread. That guy is kind of weird. I don’t know anything about that bunny, though.
I agree. His site isn’t all that great either. Surprisingly, people who play a mobile game for a living aren’t the most well-adjusted bunch.
I think he has another job, actually. I may be wrong, though.
Cool.
Even though I finished my Krustyland I still go and collect tickets everyday and am up about 100k.
I just traded Krusty tickets in for cash but I should still have some left over. I may have to send people on quests there to drum up some more.
You don’t need much. It looks like a few thousand. I just dropped to pretty much zero tickets. Oh well, will just take a week or something.
I was wondering if they’d ever come back to Krustyland. I’ve accumulated a bit over 300K tickets, though I’ve only visited 2-3 times a week in the last few months.
While Cranky might be right, I haven’t liked his site in a while. It’s been weird and the posts just bile and meandering and … cranky. Without good info either. And while he might be right, constant shots at the other blogs are tedious.
I do find addicts to be a little too gooey (“Should you spend donuts on xyz? … Verdict? YES!” every damn time), but without reading the comments, at least it sticks to talking about the game itself.
I don’t mind that it’s a KL update, but it seems so far to kind of suck. Not a lot to get without donuts, and since we rarely get new KL stuff, it’s not like “Oh well, I’ll just wait till the next one.”
I like that we’re getting back to KL. I’ve essentially ignored it since I built it up and I only go to it to collect tickets and play Sideshow You twice a day. I did add the new stuff as it came, but I’d like to see characters get those one off quests there as well.
I’d like to pop back in and brag that I got three 50 ticket balloons yesterday in Sideshow You ![]()
Still haven’t gotten donuts in there, though…![]()
Does anyone happen to know if the nuclear option in Krustyland only affects Krustyland or if it wipes out your whole town. I’d hate to learn the hard way. Thanks in advance!
Another question on nuking. How does it work? I know it resets your town but do you get to keep your money and buildings and items? Or do you completely start from scratch?
Nuking Krustyland only affects Krustyland, but be aware that any premium characters that can visit Krustyland will get dumped into your inventory.
Nuking doesn’t reset your cash or donuts or anything. All your stuff will be in inventory, and any streets and pavement get wiped out.
Cool, thanks.
Just a week or two ago I decided to spend all my KL tickets on land. I didn’t have a ton of tickets to start with but I bought all the land sections that were 2k tickets or less. At least I’ll have plenty of room for the Wheel.
I finally got my ratings all up to 5 stars! Except Consumerism. I think I’ve done all I can do there - it’s only affected by buying stores. I’d rather wait until Vulgari and Oh Fudge are available to me for building instead of buying a 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th Kwik-e-Mart.
I used the online guides to let me know what is the best “bang-for-your-buck” item for each conformity meter. So that’s why I’ve got a ton of $135 trees (tree hugging), $70 trash cans (vanity) and stop signs (obedience).
Since land is still fairly expensive for my earning ability, I’m trying not to take up huge chunks of land with my conformity pieces. I’m trying to put them all over the city. I actually just figured out a plan - buy some land (it’s getting relatively easier for me to afford), pack it with trees and trash cans, then store all of the trees and trash cans, then grab them out of storage and drag the item around town until you find a place where the item is “green” (place-able). Shows you all those hidden open nooks and crannies where stuff can be put to fill in the spaces, and not take up valuable other land.
Since stop signs and trash cans are 1 square a piece, I’m beginning to think I have upwards of 99% of my available land covered!
I’m on level 40 but still working on quests from level 37, apparently. I just got Kirk Van Houten. The whole game and level thing is kind of messed up for people like me who haven’t been playing since the beginning. While you guys get all your levelling-up done and sit around and wait for a new level, I just keep on busting out quests and making money (making money at a much slower pace than you do, of course)!
It’s slowing down though, which is nice. I don’t feel like I’ve wasted tons of money by not playing for an hour. I’ve even started throwing some people over to Krustyland to get tickets over there.
And for the first time ever, I was told to go on a quest one day and was able to afford the piece of land plus the building by the end of the day. Woohoo!
Ok I’m done. I am so addicted to this game. Awful.
I like to put a stop sign in each corner of my blocks. It looks nice and helps keep the number up without having out-of-place multiples out in the open or hiding behind things.
Gil’s back in this morning’s update. I didn’t see any donut deals that were sufficiently enticing.
I added a bunch of people from this thread. My thingy is nutrimat if i missed anyone feel free to add me.
