The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Thanks to everyone for adding me!

When I visit friends Springfields, does it make a difference what buildings I click on, or am I going to get the same amount of fp and cash regardless?

What are these Krustyland tickets that I’ve been getting from some peoples Krustylands? Also, how do I get a Krustyland (I don’t want to wade through 70 pages of this thread)?

Is there a good site for info/tips on this game?

Same amount of FP and cash now (certain buildings used to give more reward to either the tapper or tappee or both)

They are the Krustyland currency (as compared to the money in Springfield).

Krustyland (Simpsons Tapped Out Wiki)

The Tapped Out wiki is good for specific items. TSTOTopix is probably the best of the Tapped Out blogs.

I finally won the $200,000 prize at the dog track! Which is good because I was saving up money for the $300,000 “Ah, Fudge!” factory at the time. So I was able to buy the factory and some land and some parking spaces and have enough left over to almost buy the Unemployment Office.

Next I’ve got the final building I think, Vulgari, which is insane expensive. But my extra % is up to 13% so that’s cool. I’m able to hang loose and play in Krustyland a bit, and maybe get that built up to “current.”

I look forward to a time where I just collect money and buy stuff to increase my extra % and ratings. Ahhhh…

Whoah! After 8 playing I fully expect each Mystery Box to include a mailbox or tree and sometimes some fencing or $250. Yesterday my MB contained 10 donuts! By far the best prize I’ve ever received from it.

Wish I could help you. I have 5.3 million sitting around doing nothing.

Me too - I had been playing the 99-1 odds every day since last December without a single win. 2 days ago I won it…but hit the “ok” button so fast I almost didn’t notice. I just assumed it was another loss and only barely saw the “You won!” notice as the dialog box was closing.

As I understand it, once you tap on my building, I can collect the full “rent” for that building, without waiting the usual period for the rent to recur. So it’s the same for you no matter what building you tap, but the person being tapped benefits more if you tap on a building with a long reload time (e.g., courthouse, Burns Mansion) than something that will reset every few minutes anyway, like the Simpson house or the brown houses.

I see a few non-premium buildings in the menu that never popped up for me in a quest (Calmwood, for instance). At some point, I guess I’ll go back and pick those up.

My corn and second Spuckler are due this week!

I’m not sure, but I think the next Spuckler for me is due on my birthday.

What kind of % extra do you guys get? I read somewhere that you can get up to 650%. :-o

I haven’t gotten too many donuts so I haven’t spent many.

I think my bonus is 54%. The only think I can think of that I have spent donuts on that gives a multiplier is the UFO/ray gun combo from halloween. Everything else was won free through the game (Easter shit, white fences in my mystery boxes, etc).

Yesterday Cletus and Brandine welcomed baby Birthday into the brood.
Brandine immediately announced that she’s preggers again.

My corn came up today. I was going to defriend anyone who tapped on it besides me

I am going to wait until Brandine’s ready to be knocked up again before I start corn again so they come on the same day.

The latest Gil deal is Otto+bus and some playground equipment for Ð70. The Otto+bus combo is usually 120, so that’s a 50 donut savings even without the equipment (I had the other items but not the tether ball, which gives a 0.5% bonus).

…bump for the new update! GRUNT! GRUNT! GRUNT!

Man this looks like a bit of an odd one. It’s a riff on Clash of the Clans, evidently. We’ll get to destroy each other’s buildings now for jars of goop or something.

You know, there are so many classic Simpsons moments they can tap for content, yet they’d rather go for mediocre meta humor on something topical. Man, do I ever hate EA.

I did kinda like the Bender reference, though. KINDA.

I imagine it might have some references in it that I’ll miss, since I don’t know anything about Clash of the Clans beyond the omnipresent commercials.

Still, I’m ready for any sorta “quest” now, it’s been too long.

I’m fairly confused, but I like it and I know I’ll get the hang of it.

I do like the meta jokes, which I won’t spoil for those of you who are just starting it. I’m not that far in, but I know some people are still waiting on building their castles.

Ok so apparently once you use some of your nerds in an attack they’re used up and you don’t get them back? If someone I attacks fights off my attack I don’t get any rewards or I just don’t get as much?
I’m for this update. the game is pure collectville with no real interaction. So this is nice to see and I hope they do more things like this in the future.

If you are below level 20 and don’t have a Krustyland yet, you still keep the tickets you aquired from friends parks when you were below 20, right? I’m 15 now, have been collecting tickets from 60 friends every day and I’d hate to find out that the tickets I’ve collected don’t count because I was below 20 or something.

Looking at other people’s level 43 towns and parks, how long does it take (roughly) to get that high? 6 months? A year? more? The amount of stuff you get by level 43 is pretty impressive but the limited interaction has me wondering how long I can sustain it. I’ve played games like this before and I tend to go maybe 3-4 months at most before it starts to feel too much like work.

I liked the Family Guy game better, it seemed more interesting, had better animations, and I liked the costumes and other things you could work towards. But I couldn’t get the damn game to work on my pod so it’s deleted.
