Svejik’s invite to me came with Facebook stuff also. I just canceled out if the process and went back to “Add New Friends." The invite was sitting there. I hit “Add" and it worked fine.
I’ve heard we should hoard them until the final phase of the event, which requires a huge amount of currency to get the prizes.
Oh, damn, I’m behind. Oh well. I’d really, really like that donut torture device, but I guess I can live without it.
Is there an easy way to remove friends from the game on an android tablet? I have over a dozen SDMB friends who don’t seem to be playing anymore, and it’s annoying to have to jump over them to look for Rigellians. Once I get rid of them, I’ll go through the most recent list and add some new ones.
There’s a hide function where they won’t show up but they’re still listed as friends. Otherwise, you need to install the Origin app on your PC to manage the friends.
You no longer have to download Origin. You can remove them easily by clicking the friend button twice (to pull up the list of friends) and click on the friend’s name. A button will pop up giving you the option to “Unfriend.” Actually, it’s right next to the hide button.
Nice. I kind of feel bad about unfriending fellow Dopers, but what are you gonna do?
I don’t see my name on that list. I’m nutrimat on Origin feel free to add me!
I finally broke down and spent a few bucks on donuts last week, and bought Kearney and Squeaky Voice Teen. I ignored their quests and have been having all the kids trick or treat constantly. I did get that stupid peacock yesterday, but I only have 3400 probes right now. According to the guide Mahaloth posted I am not going to make it all the way to the Donut Torture Device.
Oh well, what I’m really shooting for is Hugo and the Pumpkin house. Those items will be available until the end of the event, right? I have enough donuts for the Ray Gun or the Drive In but it would clean me out so I’ll pass on those. I am thinking of getting the Channel 6 news van, just because it fills in that 4 (or is it 8?) hour slot for broadcasting tasks.
I’m 28 and getting to the point where I have enough buildings and characters that the cash flow is increasing nicely. When choosing what to build I’ve been trying to focus on buildings that come with characters first, that way I have 2 new ways to make more cash. I’ve been neglecting my boardwalk since the water expansions are more expensive. It kind of sucks that you can’t collect Krustyland tickets from friends now, the next item I have to build there costs 10k tickets.
What is the max friend level? I thought it was 10, but I am at 9 now and there’s still 3-4 more prizes left after KBL radio.
max friend level right now is 12.
Wow! I just got 30 donuts from blowing up a ufo. woohoo!
Should we be hoarding gremaliens then?
I’ve pulled up most of my streets to keep the locals and facehuggers concentrated in one spot - it’s a bitch scrolling around looking for those damn things.
Almost up to Hugo in prizes - all candy corn obtained, and I just need 5 more eggs. The pain is the damn fences - I’m 72 away on those.
I’m miles away from the damn Grand Punkin’, but I already had the House
Now I just have to NOT TAP on the damn spooky wall & HTS buttons
To the Craft prizes go away with each phase?
Somebody had Santa flying around and I instinctively tried to shoot him down. No good, I’m afraid.
I got that too! It was awesome!
Of course I then turned around and spent 15 on 5 more ammo, and haven’t recouped yet. Oops.
Ammo is the thing to get, tho. Blowing up ships is very lucrative!
I can’t manage to be awake long enough to get my kids into ToT 3 times a day. Just 2. Sigh.
I didn’t realize that I was missing some friends here. I sent out invites an hour ago but if I missed you I am:
Jsteck13
Someone on another site pointed out the following: don’t go hunting for aliens. Just park yourself over a road and wait. Within 60 seconds, most of the available aliens will saunter right into your screen. Easy peasy. No hunting needed.
That’s what I’ve been doing with friends. Some people’s Springfields are so busy that they make my game crash if I move too much.

I think so.

I have no idea, but I think…not? Please tell me no?
Any predictions how they’ll make the final stage of the game possible, with it requiring more or less a 140% gathering rate per day?
I may have missed it. Does leveling up your weapon do anything or is it just a quest?
It increases the effective radius of the weapon. In other words, it lets you clear aliens more quickly if they’re bunched together.
How high does the level go?
