The Simpsons: Tapped Out

But I just got Lard Lad Donuts yesterday, so everything’s coming up Milhouse.

It took me a while to figure out that I should be sending multiple characters from whichever category on the tasks that earn corn, etc.

I can’t get Lard Lad and I don’t know if I should keep trying. I am drowning in minnow ponds and ONDAs.

What do you have to get to in order to plant things in other towns?

To clarify, I got the Lardlad Donuts from the Burns prizebox, it’s not from this event.

It looks like you have to upgrade your building to level 3 before you can start sending plants to other towns.

I f’n hate these “log in 4 times a day or get nothing” events.

Especially if the last one takes six hours and, like me, you finish the third one just after 6 PM.

The event is really long and collecting things gets easier as you go. I think most users will do fine with just a slight increase in playing.

I don’t like how many of the booger seeds I’m getting. I hate when I don’t have enough of ____ to give one of each to my neighbors.

Do the walking corn stalks look more like dandelions to anyone else?

I really think they missed an opportunity to use the triffids from Cletus’ farm !

Ok, what is the trick?

I have been playing this event since it started, and I am collecting stuff at such an incredibly slow rate, I don’t see how I can build just one of the things they are asking us to build.

Each time I upgrade my building, it takes all of my fertilizer and corn, which took me a day or more to collect, back down to zero (or close enough).

Aside from spending donuts, is there a chance that someone who is just grinding away will enjoy this event, or will it just frustrate me to the point of no return?

I hate these 4 tasks a day things, because I just cannot dedicate my life to this thing. I refuse to set an alarm, but I am thinking I might have to for this event if I want to get even a few prizes. The totals are so staggering, though, that I don’t know if I should even bother trying to climb the mountain.

I have finally begun to collect those fast moving green blobs (reminds me of the first nasty thing the ghostbusters caught in the hotel). I like those blobs! But visiting the neighboreenos, and giving everyone a couple make them go quickly.

Plus, when I squish a corn stalk, i get one stinking shovel… That is not exactly worth the effort, especially when they limit the number of shovels you can collect per day.

I don’t know… This seems to be a major league PITA. anyone know the secrets to this event?

After you level up your Monsarno to like six or seven, you can’t upgrade it until Part 2. So I blew through all my crap to upgrade it, and now it can accumulate to craft my remaining things. The whole event looks harder than it is as long as you log in a couple times a day.

Exactly this - one of my tasks now is to create the Springfield Farmers Market at a whopping 15000 feedbags and 4600 corn…I mean come on

Yeah, the shovel track seems doable, but I have no idea if crafting is possble

Like it was noted above, you can’t really use them for anything else after you get the Monsarto HQ to level 6.

Update today. A couple new things.

Question. Does the cane field serve any useful purpose, or should I keep on going for the farmers market?

It looks like the cane field just ups your tree hugging so I think it’s secondary to the farmers market.

I can’t believe they threw an update in the middle of this, such odd timing.

On the other hand, I got the tire fire out of my mystery box. These things are starting to pay off.

There are three things you have to craft (market, porta potty, cane field). It’s recommended you hold off on the latter two until you get the market, as at least that generates money and it’s a real task. Supposedly we’ll be able to craft when this round is over, like we were still able to after Halloween.

Mr. Teeny is back, with some new tasks as well as Krusty’s previous 12-hour one.

I just went through a massive friend purge by clearing out anyone who hasn’t played in over 3 months. This significantly reduced my number of friends and has made visiting friends a much quicker activity!

If anyone wants to add me (jonjbarton504) I’ve plenty of free spots now!

I haven’t paid attention during this one, but in the past, I thought that as long as you got it started you still got the prize.

I tend to go to bed right around midnight, so I try to remember to log in right after 12 (during these events) to get the first task of the day started. That way when I wake up in the morning I can (typically) start the second task and as long I remember to start the third task at some point during work I can start the fourth one when I get home. But usually they’re pretty good about making those middle two short ones so you can do them both after work and let the last one run over night. At least that’s what I recall from previous events.
