I also hate these stupid 4 tasks a day events. I can’t get on at work because Origin’s site is blocked, unless I do it on my cell phone and it sucks to do Simpsons on a tiny screen.

I haven’t been paying too much attention either - is there some larger prize you get for completing all four of a day’s task, or is the only “bonus” (besides what you get for completing them) for finishing the first three before midnight the ability to start the fourth one?
Looks like it. I started a 2 hour task at ~10:30, and finished after midnight, but it counted as I started it before 12.
The bonus increases with each consecutive one.
If the people I deleted were an average sampling, something happened about 26 weeks ago (Halloween/Thanksgiving). With one exception 100% of the people I deleted who’d quit gave up between 24 and 28 months ago. Did Halloween or Thanksgiving especially suck? I don’t even remember.
Might be that Christmas was pretty elaborate and if you missed the start a lot of people said “eh, screw it”? I know my husband didn’t do Christmas but he came back for Radioactive Man.
Just a reminder the second part starts tomorrow (or like in six hours, I think. Midnight PDT).
We SHOULD still be able to collect and craft the cane, porta john, and farmers’ market after the new stage.
Figures, I panicked and spent 30 donuts for the Farmers Market just in case it might go away.

I said screw it and spent all my saved up stuff on upgrades instead of continuing for the farmer’s market. I guess Ill find out if its worth it.
I’m happy with my pet mutant plant. I don’t know that the current ultimate prize looks as enticing.
I did the same. The farmer’s market doesn’t seem very interesting to me.
Same here. Missed the last item (plant guy or something) simply because I was too tired to log in last night before I went to bed.
I blew through my stuff too. I figured that having more characters earn more fertilizer would help me more than a building that just pays cash and getting rid of something in my taskbook.
Almost everyone has an earning task now, even if it’s only for an hour.
I was more enthusiastic in part 1. Seeing that this is literally more of the same in part 2, I think I’m going to be so bored and not care if I get everything.
I got the rakes yesterday on my phone so I placed them, then I shut down TSTO and started it up on my tablet for unrelated reasons and I got rakes again.
May be worth trying again if anyone has two places where they play the game. Or it could just be a happy co-inky-dink.
Did you still have the first set? If you shut down the game before it saved the fact that you placed the first ones, you might have just been placing the same ones.
I have both sets. I got the first set and placed them out, then closed out the game so I could set the phone down to charge it. I then picked up my tablet and started up the game and got the message that I got 3 rakes. 3 of the rakes are lying around by the Simpson’s farm, two more are at the research facility, and the last it a bit north of that in the grass.
I’m a little confused at this point as to how I should be dividing up my focus on fertilizer, corn, DNA, or gas masks.
ETA: Remember that the six-donut Mystery Box offer expires tomorrow, I think.
Gas masks are the new shovels so you can’t choose to get them you just do.
Fertilizer and corn are used to upgrade, DNA is for other things. I have zero trouble getting corn; fertilizer is the main priority. DNA only has a few jobs now, so I do that for those guys, but generally do fertilizer unless the person only has corn jobs.

I don’t remember what they started at level 1, presumably 2/3/5/8 or something like that? I’m happy skipping the farmer’s market for now. The Gas and Grub seems reachable: corn and DNA only.
Thanks! I decided to get a few and I got the Tire Fire (2% bonus!) and Kearney. Plus a third Onda and a Khalash Kart. I got the Lawyer and a billboard and a Lard Land for free, so I’m pretty happy with this… must not go get another box… or not too many. I think I have most of the “good” stuff now that was available
Does it make sense to keep upgrading? I have been able to play a couple times a day and don’t seem to be getting many prizes.
