I was visiting neighbors, and I saw something I have never seen before in anyone’s town.

It was a large, what looked like ice, castle.

It has a big footprint, and I have never seen it before.

I suspect it was a special event item, that required a ton of donuts, but usually, I see a few people have rare items… This thing, I’ve seen once.

I confess that my visiting time gets less and less as I go, so perhaps others have it. Once I tap my 3 items and drop some seed pods, I am usually not hanging around exploring. So if you have an ice castle and/or can tell me how you got it, thanks in advance!

Is that the Captain Bob for 100 Donuts or do you quest your way to it?

Another level dropped today. There’s a meat factory and a bunch of other things. Also the 5 state corners has been available for a few weeks and I love that thing but I don’t know if I want to shell out the money for it.

Most of my “permanent” tasks are not being used right now because of the quests but I have a few:

Mindy Sunbathing (is it wrong?)
Krusty walking Mr. Teeny
Kirk running the cracker factory (It’s 8 hours but it pays out more than his other 8 hour task)
Anyone skateboarding or riding a motorcycle, Mr. Plow plowing
Wiggle Puppy is awesome
Wolfcastle’s battle on the set.

I assume you clicked on Nelson’s 16-hour task, which is a reference to the episode “Bart on the Road”.
The quick version: thanks to a “take your child to work day” event where Bart is pawned off on Patty & Selma at the DMV, he gets a fake driver’s license, and along with Nelson, Milhouse, and Martin (and the $600 he made working with his father), rent a car and go on a road trip. In the glove compartment is one of those AAA-style tour books that mentions that there’s a World’s Fair in Knoxville, so they head there, only to discover that it was held in 1982, and the Sunsphere is now used as storage for a local wigmaker’s wigs.

This pile of money thing is a weird task and seems like it’s both pointless and a money waster.

I looked it up and it looks like I have a known glitch.

The money mountain will also take

5.5M in money and approximately forever. At the end you get a skin for burns. Apparently they really wanted to keep burns occupied continuously even though he’s part of the Terwilliger job set. Hmmm.

There are two money pile glitches. One where you can’t throw money on it and one where it randomly levels up before it’s ready. I got both yesterday. There was just a patch, so maybe it’s fixed. They certainly didn’t fix the highlighting of the event tasks.

Try storing the money pile and replacing it if it glitches? That fixed the Nightmare Pile not giving jobs for me.

Seems like maybe this Burns Burns Money thing is for the future where you’ve got money coming out your ass and nothing you want to buy. I’ll screw around with it while it’s relatively cheap, but I’ve got other crap to do.
