Staying in canon - I like it!
I think they have ramped up the earnings of items like dna, corn, fertilizer and masks.
I hit a bob clone today, and received notes, fertilizer, dna, and corn. All at once. Unless I hit two clones (which is possible, but i didn’t see it), they might he making it a bit easier for people to hit their targets for a few of the last items.
I have no idea how, but I got the DNA needed for the Homer Decoy. Awesome! I was prepared to drop donuts on it, but figured I would be close at the end of the event so I was grinding it out. I think this is the best item I’ve added to my town for a very long time.
I may even be able to earn the boat, not something I really want, but if I can earn it without spending donuts, why not?
Don’t know for sure, but this isn’t the first time they’ve made things easier at the end of the event. I’d recommend if you play regularly, and know you won’t miss the end of the event, to keep playing and drop the least number of donuts on the items you want.
Anyone want to enter into a mutant seedling exchange with me? You can drop them any time into others’ towns (not just once a day when you are visiting) and you get dna from them.
A person can only have 10 dropped into their town at once, but I clear out about every 1 or 2 hours! If you drop them in my town I will bust them, and drop some in yours!!

Heh, that’s about the only canon in my town as well. Otherwise I put in some wacky things that I think a town full of stupid people would do like put a brewery across the street from a school or have the gates to the penitentiary stuck permanently open.

However, I think I’m mostly done with the crafting for this event. I don’t have the Homer Decoy (but it’s a little morbid for me), or the wall (meh) or the cactus patches (meh).
I’ll probably try to get some more fertilizer and make more cane fields - I like the way they look and my tree-hugging rating is pretty bad. But that can be more casual. For now, yeah, I think I’ve got this wound up.
I’m DONE. Not in the ragequit way but that I have gotten at least one of everything.
woo hoo. I’m only sending people on mask tasks so I can get a few more cactus patches, tapping the mutants and bobs, dropping seeds off in friends’ towns.
Supposedly it ends in 3 days but there are rumors that you MIGHT be able to craft prizes until June.
It felt so good to just put people on 24-hour tasks and walk away. Yeah, I could grind more and get more donuts, but it’s just not worth it when a scratcher is $1.
I’ve started back up again. I might not be able to tag friends every single day because of work but I’ll try to keep up with it. My origin id is nutrimat.
Oh, and I badly need Krustyland tickets so visits to my park would be welcome.

I see “Nutrimat” (capital N) and “nutrimatic” - I assume it’s the first one?
So sad. I am 1 full day away from crafting anything else. I get about 700 DNA a day and will end today with 3500 - I need 4300.
I’m nowhere near being able to buy anything of any worth to me. I haven’t done the math, maybe I can buy ten sections of wall just to satisfy that ‘get 10 items’ thing, but at this point, I think I’m just going to let the event expire and move on. The final task is running and it won’t be done until after midnight.
This even reminded me of a Family Guy event where everything sort of overlaps with each other. It would have been nice if each item (music notes, DNA, corn, money etc) weren’t all needed for multiple things. It bugged me that I fell so far behind at the beginning because I kept upgrading that building and the bug sprayer because I was told to and didn’t realize it meant I wasn’t able to buy things because of it.
The other problem, for me (and probably others) was that some of the tasks were too long. Throwing a 6 hour and/or four or task into each day meant the only way I could really get them all done is if I woke I put them on their first task right away when I woke up AND it was a one hour task, then I could get the second (long) ask started before I went to work. Hopefully, I could knock out the two remaining ones when I got home.
There were times when I was up past midnight and could get the first one started then (if the one from the day before had finished) or days when I thought to pull up the game while I was at work to reset things, but those were anomalies.
My suggestion for something like this again would be to make them all 2 hour tasks. Then, most people could do one in the morning and the remaining three after work without a 4 or 6 hour one to muck things up.
Where I thought Family Guy might start to be taking a lesson from Simpsons since the Star Trek thing was less complicated than their other events, it turns out that maybe Simpsons is making things more complicated. I didn’t care for this event much.
I managed to get the house boat last minute. Missed a few items but at this point I don’t care.
