I really expected it would be patched by now. This seems a huge bug with the new release, and they usually fix those things fairly quickly and toss a couple sympathy donuts around.
Has anyone gotten the Glass Recycling place yet?
I’d been storing my extra monorail parts but I put them out now (even if I’m not connecting them properly) because how many possums you earn is partially dependent on pieces. So that’s my tip for the day to increase your duct tape.
I’m really glad I didn’t buy the license. I didn’t end up needing it and I’m way ahead of schedule for this act.
Seems they fixed it finally! Update if you haven’t already.
Just got the glass plant - and I noticed that if you have all three recycling plants going at full capacity, that only leaves Homer to empty the dump, which makes going from zero to 2000 a 10-minute job (and that assumes Homer isn’t off doing something else).
Take a couple minutes after you finish plant work to throw everyone on garbage collection and get back up to 2000. Then put some people in plants and use the others to collect more trash. Then put them in the plants and you should be set for a bit without taking 10 mins.
Well I finally got to 500m real estate and the Ziff mansion. If anyone wants to take a gander at it my id is nutrimat and the mansion is on the SW corner of town. I think I might take a break from Springfield Heights at least until after the monorail event is finished. I feel like I’ve developed a mild/medium form of OCD from these last 2 events.
The events all seem to assume that everyone has the game on a phone with internet access and can play all hours of the day. I actually seem to be on track to get all the round 2 prizes but that’s only because I took a couple vacation days from work and stacked it with my 2 scheduled days off. So I was home to play constantly and build up both the heights and the monorail, otherwise I’d not make the last round 2 monorail prize. I will probably get a smart phone when my current stupid phone dies but that might be a while. And if the next event requires constant play like the last 2, I might give the game up for a while. The tap ball comments about “whales” who pay money for the game were tongue-in-cheek but insulting, and the timers for the Springfield Heights items are retarded. So, a big “Fuck You” to the devs from one of your “whales”.
You can store your Springfield Heights buildings again.
I’m spending a ridiculous amount of time playing now… but really just because I’m close to unlocking the Hippie character and I really want him
An update just hit. A handful of new buildings and a quest line for Grandpa’s birthday.
More importantly, they have the Maison Derrière. It’s 150 donuts but I may have to spring for that one.
I’m torn now.
I have about 300 or so donuts, but Halloween is coming…![]()

Don’t think I’ll have enough for the Uriah heep building. Need about 20k duct tape still. I think I’ll call it a loss and just save for act 3 stuff.
He has a very short quest, and then can help you recycle. Not worth sweating over.
Figured. I’ll just have everything stockpiled for the rollover to act 3 and hit the ground running. I hadn’t played for ages and started back up at the end of act 1.
Please? <whiny voice> I’ve grinded on this one. It’s about to change and dangit, I’m not going to get the Uriah Heap.
I blew donuts that i’d built up to try.
Pretty please? carchcarch669? Can I get a holla?
I tried to add you but I couldn’t find carchcarch669.
I’m jsteck13.
Looks like the last prize in this set is sort of important to get if you want to be able to continue to get track pieces after this event is over. There’s not many track pieces to be collected for the rest of the event. So it will be worth it for anyone who wants to have a fairly decent monorail track to grind through this last third of the event to get the track making plant or whatever.
I finally got in the grinding groove halfway through Act 2, so hopefully I will follow suit in Act 3.
Is it just me, or has anybody else gotten to a point where the Project Board has three items that require glass, and you just started a set of 3-hour jobs at the Glass Depot?
For that matter, when did the limit on projects per day start? It’s going to make it harder to get the Rail Yard.
You must be ahead of me, I don’t have the glass factory yet. Tells me it’s not available.
Seems to be somewhat randomized. I’ve had similar things happen with full warehouses of stuff I couldn’t use because all the project required one of the materials.
Does anyone know how the cap on projects works? Does it make sense to not, for example, squish raccoons until after you cap out?
