Yeah, not for me either. Only the creepy walls do.
If I did my math right I will get about 1.7% after a whole lot of crafting. It’s something anyway.
I think Rhodes has it right. I bought a couple wailing walls last night, and it boosted my percentage. So I bought more, around 10-12, I think, and ended up gaining about 25%.
Just did the same and yes - it seems they DO give a boost>
Thanks!
Cool! Boy do i regret crafting a bunch of spooky groves now.
Bought a couple more. I’ve gone from 52% to 81%. Took me two years to get to 52. I don’t know how some people are at 150 or 200.
There doesn’t seem to be a use for the bunny ears and rib cages, though.
I’m not going to be able to get the rened center. I need 3000 apples. With just four days left, I think I’ll be a bit short.
Both walls give bonus (2.25% for wailing and .05% for the other one, iirc) but since the wailing wall ALSO pays out twice a day, it DOES NOT show a percentage because pay out > percentage in the limited space to describe items.
So make sure that in the next 4 days you craft as many as you can because that’s a lot of money and XP you get as a multiplier AND generated.
Tomorrow we’re tapping zombies for the House of Evil, so keep that in mind with your planning. Since I enter my game before 8am, my HOE tasks aren’t always available. Sometimes, but not always. I’ll wait until after 8 before I release the kids from their overnight trip to the brown houses to help me get the zombies.
How do you tell what your % is?
Tap your star rating at the lower left.
Had a few star spawn pop out apples today, like 1 in 20. Still not worth the trouble.
After crafting the hell out of the spooky walls, I’m now at 207% Woohoo!
…Also wishing there was an easier way to craft multiple items - crafting those Biohazard walls was a PITA
Hoping for a break until Xmas
222% for me! and i had 10000 rib cages. Those biohazard walls did suck so hard. I had to get some pumpkins too to shake it up.
One more battle mnthstr tomorrow before the event is over. So do your last battle before you do a takedown. And don’t be first to do the takedown. LEARN FROM MY MONORAIL MISTAKE
What do you mean by that, Fair Rarity? The don’t be first to do a takedown thing.
So wait… the event is over, or “almost” over, yet the Shopkeeper’s Challenges tab say that there are over 10 days left? I know they don’t immediately force you to upgrade, but they don’t wait more than a few days…
The event is over for me.
I loathed this event, especially act 3.
Just a question for the many of you still playing…
How do you play?
Do you read the quest storylines?
Do you search online for instructions on how to play some of these events?
Do you just grind away for a few minutes while in the loo?
I was one of the first to download the update to take down the Monorail event, and it was glitch-ridden. Erased my progress in my town, ate recent premium purchases, was a major pain to get fixed. So it’s good to wait until the first bunch of people download it first and let them be the guinea pigs. You usually don’t have to download the update for a few days anyway, so it gives you some times for glitches to be fixed.
I see. I remember that now. Good advice. I want to ride this out for as long as I can buy wailing walls anyway, so I’m waiting until I’m forced to update before doing so.
Thanks! I never knew that. ![]()

I stopped playing once I realized I wasn’t going to get the Re-Neducation center, and I had all the walls, trees, etc, that I needed. Also, I did the shopkeepers challenge out of order - I didn’t finish the first one to tap 30 skeletons until after I completed the other 4 - and it didn’t give me my donuts.
I do read the quest storylines and dialogue for the most part, although I usually play while watching television and sometimes am distracted by that.
I have not searched online for instructions, although I check this thread when I’m on the SD and sometimes people have useful information.
A few minutes on the loo? It takes me a half hour just to go through all my friend villages. I usually log in when I get up, when I work starting in the afternoon I’ll log in again before I go to work, then again when I get home. I’d say 3-4 times a day at about 20-30 minutes each time (not including the friend visits).
When there’s not an event going on I’ll log in twice a day and set everyone on an 8 to 12 hour task, depending on the timing (when I get home from work, etc). I am not that fanatical about it, but even when I am busy I try to hit it at least once a day.
My update was forced today. Going to poke around the net to see when Christmas is dropping. I am itching to blow up my town and start anew…I hope I have time.
