Argh, it was still going this morning. Probably wasted those donuts.
I’m in the same boat. I’m just over 300 pacifiers away and Gerald is 20 donuts. I still have bears spawning in my town and I think I might be able to make it by tonight or in the morning but what if I wait too long and lose him but I also don’t want to spend any donuts if I don’t have too.
According the EA forums a space event is coming. That sounds neat.
If you haven’t gotten the last few things, keep grinding away until you’re forced to update. It’s not like you’re missing anything in your towns.
I always forget how GREEN everything is these first few days after Christmas.
I wonder if this is going to lead into the release of the Futurama game.

I was pleased to discover that the find Maggie for donuts game survives the update. That’s much more doable than grinding out monorail pieces.
Overall, I’m happy for the update. I didn’t mind the pacifiers so much, but I’m a bit burnt on tapping bears and merrymakers and whatever else.
Thank you. And I didn’t realize you got donuts for Maggie. I tried to find her a couple of times and couldn’t because my town is very compact. I’m going to start and I’m also glad it’s going to stick around.
You need to find her three times to get donuts, then repeat. So far for me she’s always been on a house as opposed to a commercial building. Turning the volume up and listening for her sucking on her pacifier helps a lot.
After sustained and steady effort, I finally got the billionaires haven. I have no idea how some of you got it months ago, but I’m impressed.

Well I don’t have a wife or kids so after work I’d get home turn on my kindle and plug in the charger and just tappity tappity tap all evening while watching tv. It still took quite a while though. At about the $600 million mark I gave up for awhile but I was annoyed that the icon in the quest log wouldn’t go away so I finished it just to get rid of that.
Space event has landed.
Of course, I thought it’d hit after Valentine’s Day and everyone’s on 24-hour tasks.
Sigh.
I really don’t like how this is turning into TFGQFS. I want a week or two off at least, not a day or two. I know I don’t have to play, but it’s better when we’re all taking a break than being the only one.
With the space event, there are (currently unclickable for me) ruffled potato chips floating like leaves all over town. I suspect that clicking them will be the next task as well as maybe clicking them in your neighbor’s towns.
Supposedly, if you send Bart, Lisa and Marge on the gather space food task at the same time, you’ll get five donuts when they complete it. I’m going to try it tonight or tomorrow.
Re the find Maggie for donuts game, last time I found her she was on the roof of a lard lad, and I couldn’t find her tonight because she was hidden in a grove of trees. Blows my theory that she’s always on the roof of a house.
I also have a confession. I made my first significant monetary purchase. I’ve wanted Barney since I started a couple of years ago, but 250 donuts was way out of my league. With this new deal where you get 130 donuts rebated to you, I pulled the trigger, purchasing 300 donuts. The deal was just too good for something I would never be able to get otherwise. 120 donuts for Barney, the Bowlorama and his space suit. I’m happy I did it, but I feel kinda dirty.
I just got the potato chips too.
Those of us who bought Barney are very jealous of you. I got him maybe last Black Friday or some similar deal where he was half price or something, but he was still pricey. I had to have him for my SPN, though. Now I’m bummed because it’s a better deal now than I got. 
Good for you, though.
