The Simpsons: Tapped Out

Confirmed. Got the 5 donuts. Don’t know if it’s repeatable but I’m guessing not.

This quest line seemed kind of short. I got to the end with the shuttle launches and that seems to be it. It was fun and was based on one of the greatest episodes ever but I thought there would be more.

Though Valentine’s day is coming up, so we’re going to have something for that I would think.

It’ll start on the 12th and last till a week before Easter. Easter will start on that Saturday and last until June.

Or at least that’s my feeling. I like my holidays to be leading up to the holiday, not dragging on endlessly after

Well, it is a Sunday this year, and there is a new episode that night that has a love theme, so they’ll probably tie it in with that.

Besides on top of houses, I’ve found Maggie:
In Cletus’ Field
On the sidewalk in front of the Simpson house
On top of Krusty Burger
On the sidewalk in front of Springfield Elementary
Other places I don’t recall but weren’t houses

I just found her on the roof of the library.

I assume you got the part where Quimby says, “Wait, this update’s not over!” Have you gotten anything other than garbage?

All I’ve gotten so far is garbage.

All I’ve gotten is the garbage. I got garbage twice but there are times where the rocket launches.

Ok, I just got a hail ants sign.

Each launch has a 25% chance of success, doesn’t it?

I like those odds!

I thought it was 25% chance of success to launch. Because most of the time my rocket just catches on fire.

That’s what I meant - each launch attempt has a 25% chance of success (where the rocket blasts off and you get something besides debris after 12 hours - I also got a Hail Ants sign) and a 75% chance of failure (where the rocket ends up catching fire).

Mine just launched 3 or 4 times in a row. Only earned me more crap.

Here’s my understanding:

Chance to launch: 1 in 4
Chance to crash and catch fire: 3 in 4
Chance (if launched) to get garbage: (guesstimate*) 80%.
Chance (if launched) to get non-garbage (Kang and Kodos Shrubs, Hail Ants sign: 14%
Chance (if launched) to get Mini Nuclear Warhead: 1%

*I saw a chart and can’t find the link-I remember that the Mini-Nuke was 1%, but I’m just guessing on the other numbers-they’re in the ballpark though.

My town was a total mess but I was afraid of nuking. Plus I really like some of the areas too much to destroy them. So I somehow was just going to clean up a few spots here and there yesterday and spent a few hours urban planning and cleaning up. My house farm now at least looks like your standard suburban townhouse row. I hadn’t even touched my Tapball stuff since the event, so I make a bunch of squares (grass surrounded by sidewalks in an even pattern) and threw all the crap in there.

I have a crap corner with all the stuff that pays money or bonus, but doesn’t look good anywhere else and is too big to hide. Like the radioactive man giant thing or the demon mountain. But it’s just a crap corner instead of a little here, a little there. I didn’t realize before how huge my town is and it’s much harder to find the Spuckler kids or to get 100% character tapping to reassign tasks, but it doesn’t make me cringe in embarrassment anymore when I get a “______ has visted your town” pop up message.

I’m nowhere near the billionaires’ club, but I’ve upgraded all the SPH stuff I have and that is my next clean up place. Just grinding out ads to get all the land.

I’ve always kept KL fairly nice and organized, so at least that’s one thing I don’t have to redo. SP is nice too.

And I have so much land for new updates and events and hopefully I’ll keep it neat. If we get new land after I spent all that time redesigning my house farm, I’ll cry. I like to keep it in the furthest corner.

Dammit now I want a Mini Nuke.

Well, with nothing really to spend my money on I’ve been spending it on upgrading the IRS building to increase my “tap” radius. Well, you all will be happy to know I just got to level 9 last night. And you’ll note that 9 is the highest level to upgrade to, thank you very much. I now have a little over $4,000. Total spent: $18 million. You’re welcome.

Hey, if anyone is interested Family Guy has a game very similar to Simpsons Tapped Out. It’s more IRL money hungry than STO but I haven’t spent any IRL money on it and I’ve missed out on some stuff and characters I liked but at this point I’ve spent too much money on STO and I refuse to spend anymore money an these type of games.

BUT the good news now is that Family Game is doing a Star Trek event until Feb. 25th. So get on it us nerds.

Yea! We got a tree! Bunch of damn hippie developers.
