The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I have visited and cleared the town multiple times every day and I missed the final prize on both acts. I’m frustrated.

Me too. Aggravating.

Weird. Do you have a lot of roads? Maybe he’s got plenty of places to hide.

So, just leveled up to level 60 and got the news that it is the final level. Do we believe them?

For now. They’ve probably just run out of ideas for new characters to add when you level up as opposed to getting them in storylines, and there are plenty of ways to get free donuts (for example, the monorail) so you don’t need to depend on leveling up to get them.

I don’t see this as any sign that they’re about to close the game down, if that’s what you mean.

I do. I don’t know if he’s out there and I’m not seeing him or if he’s not out there and I’m not seeing him.

Seems like a way to kill a cash cow. I suppose they’ll still put out new content like they have before but without the “level update” method.

I freaked out at first but came to be ok with it. Firstly they’re running out of level ideas. Better to spend brain power on events and expansions. I hope it’s not CONSTANT, but better events will be worth it.

Secondly, it’s level updates where USUALLY everything goes screwy. That means it’s one less thing that can break the game.

Third? I exploited a loophole or glitch or whatever and got nearly 4,000 donuts today. Basically, after you get the last level message, buy a day’s worth of xp collider and buy and sell bloodmobiles (or your favorite farming item). You’ll level up like crazy. It’s tedious and expensive. Also, there’s a chance it could break your game. I am one of the lucky ones.

I’m going on a huge spending spree too. Trying to decide if Moleman, Rich Texan, Jasper, Herb Powell are worth it. I want Santa’s Little Helper too. I know he’s not worth it but I want him so badly.

Huh. Ok, I took the risk and got enough donuts for Duff Gardens. That pretty much used up my little money anyway.

I rode it for a while, even buying more money with donuts to keep the ball rolling since the return was worth it. However, I just logged back in and there was an update and it seems the glitch has been patched. It got about 1,000 donuts out of the deal, but it was very tedious. I am at level 939 now.

Is Duff Gardens a good buy?

Not sure yet. It’s just sitting there because I haven’t gotten through the tasks associated with it yet. It’s all Bart and Lisa so far.

I finally found the bandit. He as just sitting and hiding behind a building in Springfield Heights. Stupid Springfield Heights.

I’ve generated a gnome and I’m about to get a duff beerquarium just for sending characters on short quests. Seems pretty cool.

I couldn’t tell you as my and other’s games are bugged. If you refuse Gil initially it doesn’t show up to buy afterwards. Unless it’s in some really obscure place. A reinstall didn’t help.

Ok, so…

except for a beer pyramid and the duff beerquarium, everything else I’ve been generating so far is a garden gnome (animated when you click on it), for what its worth

Where is Duff Gardens?

Duff Gardens should be in the premium menu. Some people were having it not show up. I’m torn if I want to get it. Gonna find out more about it first.

I ended up with about 4k donuts. Everything seems to be “normal” now for most people.

I’m now cash-poor in the game for the first time in probably 2 years.

I lost the option to buy Duff Gardens a couple of days ago, and it’s not in any of my menus. I understand that it’s a known bug that EA is working on. I will likely buy it – I think the pyramid is what sold me.

I leveled up slowly because I was cash poor from buying land the past few weeks. I’m at level 101 right now. From level 61 to 101 it was 40,000 XP. Now it’s 500,000 XP to get to 102. I’m kind of torn on whether it was right to take advantage of a glitch like that, but I wasn’t going to sit on my hands and not play. I guess bottom line is that they screwed up.

Maybe because it was I leveled up so slowly, but I tripped on a couple of things that I haven’t seen mentioned anywhere. At level 89 there’s a special message, and at level 97 there’s a one-task quest for Bart and Gina.

Okay, I’ll ask…if Level 60 really is “the last level,” then why is the movie The Return of the Titanic Ben-Hur at the Googleplex locked until you get to Level 90?

You gain levels, but they don’t specifically add new content/characters. But why did you single out level 90, and not the unlockables at levels between 61-89?

Thanks, though, didn’t notice that that building did anything.
