The Simpsons: Tapped Out

He says “eee-Yesss?” and “eee-YES!”

Do you have Barney? It’s a skin for Barney.

He’s a parody of Frank Nelson of the “Jack Benny Show.” Frank always played a clerk that showed up no matter where Jack went and would frustrate Benny. He always started out with Eeee-Yessss,May I help you.

His exchanges with Benny were hysterical.

See YouTube link for an example

Jack, Mary and Frank

Ah, thank you. Yeah I don’t remember that at all. But I do appreciate you helping.

Well, I am exactly 65 satan rings away from getting Christmas Maggie. I already did the gnome in a boxes and the quests from the Springfield Library and Moes Tavern.

Let’s see if popping pagans will push me over the top into Winner-town.

Stay tuned for the exciting conclusion?

Well, it’s official. This is the most terrible game there is.

I was wanting to pop the pagans one by one so I could report back to you guys how many it took to go Over The Top with Sylvester Stallone.

But this heckin game said, “Nah Bro. Ain’t happenin.”

When I went to tap one of the little bastards apparently a bunch of other little bastards had wondered by and they popped all at once so I don’t even know how many it was.

Heck this heckin game to heck.

But hey I gots my little Maggie-Waggie so I got that going for me. Which is nice.

In my town, and I don’t think there’s a modifier on this, a pagan gives 15 rune stones. So you needed 5 if that number is a constant.

Ah, good to know. Since I got all the prizes I’m now into bonuts territory. Hopefully I can get some before the event ends.

And, of course, I meant brooches. Pagans also give 4 rune stones.

Now that I’m earning them, I understand that “bonuts” isn’t a oft-repeated typo in this thread.
A week ago, I was offered a limited-time deal with over 100 donuts, 7 bonus days of XP Collider, and a few other things, for $20. It seemed like a good deal, so I splurged, and ended up increasing almost 10 levels in that week.
Between grinding on recycling & trash for the monorail, grinding out gadgets, coffees, etc. for Springfield Heights, and whatever needs to be done for Krustyland (I haven’t even messed with that yet, but it’s there when I’m ready), I’ll be busy in-game for quite some time.

So my pagans are gone. I had the final springhenge prize to collect and the fucking springhenge no longer works and now I’m rather pissed.

I learned the term from this thread too.
Well like JohnT when I logged in this morning the event was over. Except for upgrading the Gnome in the Home. That was still around.

Looks like the gnome is producing bonus gift vouchers for exclusive prizes.

This is way better than that one time that I sold seeds and Grit magazine!

After completing a Grandpa quest a note popped up and there’s a surprise in it.

It’s a typo. There are two "the"s.

Anyone have any idea how long the Gnome might be around? I’m somewhere between the Gold and Platinum mystery prizes, but I don’t want to lose out on everything…

The big prize thing ends in a day or so.

Saw that “learn more about Christmas” was an option again: @ $6 per second, per character, easily the best way to get $$$ really quick, so I created a long street, put my library at the end of it and ground out about $250,000 in the past day or two.

Today, it’s $50 for 6 seconds, or $8 per second per character.

One day, 16 hours left for availability on the mystery prizes ( it’s on the storefront under the word " view") so i guess we will chase the gnome that long.

[sigh]
Yep, I noticed the counter an hour or so after I posted the question. D’oh!

Just got the IRS building today. I had been wondering how those of you with huge Springfields were collecting all the monies in a reasonable amount of time… now I know.

I.
Want.
The.
Event.
Takedown.
Now.

I haven’t been able to play on my phone in days. I can still play on tablet. But it’s harder and suckier and it’s not conducive to “check real quick.” If the event was SCHEDULE until today, tomorrow, the fifth, whatever, that’d be fine. But end it when it ENDS. Blech.

I figured the gnome would be gone today so I threw in the extra 20 or so donuts to get the mystery prize and it was the slide factory. Probably the one mystery prize I wanted the least.
