I got all the things, this time with a day to spare!
I think buying the friends card really works out for me. I only have so many opportunities in the day to play, so getting the extra 500 or so whatevers from friends does make quite an impact. I was scrambling at the end of each act but I did get all the goodies!
I got all the things from the spy event, along with some bonuts… except Scorpio’s black outfit. Not sure how I didn’t end up with that. Cool that the drone scan is still working, and giving items for Heights and monorail.
For the PinPals event, I was offered a 90-donut “refund” if I purchased Barney’s Bowlarama (total cost 160 donuts, instead of 250).
I had to buy some donuts… but now I have one of my favorite characters of the show.
“My name is Barney Gumble. I’m 40, I’m single, and I DRINK!”
So, what does maxing-out the Conform-o-meter do for you?
If I buy a few more restaurants and a boatload of trees/plants/etc., I can have 5 stars on the meter… just wondering if it’s worth spending the money/donuts to get there.
Yeah try to max it out because it helps you get money faster as you conform better. And it’s kind of a fun part of beginning the game - the struggle of conforming.
Don’t spend donuts on it tho. Not worth it, unless it’s for a character or something you really wanted. But not, like, on a tree or a sign.
It’s a little misleading, I think. You build the bench and then nothing happens. Some people peeked in the files and something else happens in a few days, then a few later. Looks like an event next week.
Did a money sink event with Cecil Terwilliger come up for everyone? I saw the payouts briefly before it bugged, and now I can sent Cecil on tasks but not the event screen.
It’s not Heights related. It’s another long term expensive goal like Burn’s money mountain.
Some of Cecil’s tasks are now very expensive and progress can be can be seen as part of the ‘Daily Challenges’ button in the upper right. There should be a third tab labeled Road to Riches.
Thank you. I must have seen a flash about money and assumed Springfield heights. Between this and the dinosaurs, so much to do.
So much cool stuff to collect.
*waves goodbye to doing anything productive for the next few weeks.
