I hope they don’t go with another digging type minigame next event. As far as I’m concerned, it can go join the wheel.
I just noticed that Moe’s is now “Mo’s.”
I had obligations I couldn’t get out of so I didn’t get to finish the archeology event. and I REALLY wanted sexy pirate but didn’t get him. Oh well.
This Pride event is ok but I’m not really liking having to pop all the balloons. I’m up to part 3 and having to pop 125. Blargh.
He has 2 very inconvenient animations, meh (1 hour, and an 8 hour that requires an important second character).
Balloons are easy, the quest icon will point you to the next one until they’re all gone, then try again in a few hours.
I wouldn’t sweat the balloon popping. With the three characters performing the pride badge tasks and then popping the balloons I could find after a quick scan of my town, I finished a couple of days ago.
My Daily Challenge today was for something from Springfield Heights. All of my SH resources are past full and I have no real interest in generating more so I X’d that task out. My replacement task was for 40 hammocks and I can’t X that one out this time. PITA.

I cancel all non-donut or non-event related tasks unless it can’t be avoided, like collect from buildings.
I wish.
I can cancel the first one but then the second daily task can’t be cancelled so I’m stuck with that.

Yes, but you can have 3 active at a time, and skipping doesn’t come up that often, so it’s never the case that my docket is full.
The only time when I might willingly do a cash task is if it’s for some broad category like every child character, and I get sick of the yellow task always taking precedence and scrolling so much.
I usually do them unless it’s collect stuff for SPH other than the pills, which the turkey drops if I can find the bugger. I could maximize my stuff for donuts, but I also could clean up my debris and visit friends if I wanted them that badly.
No rumors yet about another event. Usually there’s more chatter if something were dropping tomorrow, the usual (but not always) event drop day.
Since the pride event ends tomorrow, the next update is likely Wednesday or Thursday if their recent pattern of updates holds. And it’ll be a big event again.
I hope it’s not a repetitive crafting event that lasts six weeks. I’m kinda burnt on those. Logging in every four hours to earn junk that will end up in storage is just boring.
I do, however, like the dig site from the last one. At least it’s something different.
Crafting 3 act events make me miss the wheel.
I bought Arnie Pye from the vault last night. He was pretty cheap. Can’t wait for him to be done with his task line so I can put him in his stonecutters skin and never have to worry about accidentally putting him on helicopter duty again.
Yeah, I like to put characters on 4 hour tasks and Norbert’s is in the plane. The obnoxious thing about the planes and helicopters is when they intercept a tap for a different character or building and then center you on their task elsewhere.
New update just posted and I got tasks for Burns, Fall Out Boy, and Bart. I also just got the Rock and Hard Place building from Cecil’s Road to Riches task line and it has an 8 hour task for Homer to bounce back and forth between the two. It’s a very amusing task.
Looks like they’ve broken the pattern and this is another mini-event.
Oh boy do I hate Norbert. I keep him on 24-hour tasks and I hate when everyone catches up to him and I forget to single him out the next time I do 4-hour tasks.
