The Simpsons: Tapped Out

I lost interest a few months ago. I just started playing again. Let’s see how long this lasts.

Me too.

Not long, I’ll guess. It’s not that different. Frequent events that are basically recolors of each other. It’s better than nothing, but it’s not compelling, especially if you weren’t inclined to continue previously.

So in the Charmer’s Market Exchange, it’s saying that I already have the Medieval Rich House but I don’t recall getting that and it’s not in my Inventory. Anyone else get this?

There’s a bunch of stuff that it says I already have. They’re recycling from previous Halloween events. You probably have the medieval rich house out in your town somewhere.

I started playing again this summer after a three-year hiatus. It’s been mildly amusing but it’s starting to feel like a job again, which is why I took a break in the first place. Way too many characters, tasks, quests, buildings, etc. to keep track of. I’ve completely ignored some mini-games, like the outer space thing.

I sorta wanted Frank Grimes, who was available when I wasn’t playing and apparently isn’t available anymore. I was hoping he’d turn up during the Halloween event, but no. :frowning:

Aha, there it is. Thanks for the tip.

Earlier this year, EA made some changes to the Store and put a lot of stuff into “The Vault”, to be made available for a limited time, in small groups. I’ve seen Frank Grimes show up in there a few times since that change. I want him too, but I haven’t had the donuts to get him when he shows up.

Thanks, that’s good to know! Now I have to decide whether to stick it out and hope that Frank shows up again.

Is it just me or is there a stupid amount of mead crates, nerd gold, and chaise lounges being produced for this event?

Pluses to this event: It doesn’t have that wheel. Minuses: It’s downright boring. It feels like even more of a grindfest than usual, and the lack of novelty doesn’t help.

I finished this week’s monorail track collection, got the bonus donut and the Rail Yard Project Board reset to building extra tracks instead of saying “that’s all for this week.” I don’t think there’s a bonus donut involved though. Anyone else get this?

Yes, it seems to be an ongoing thing now. I don’t know if it’s a permanent change or event related. I think you do get the bonus donuts at the end of each cycle, but I’m not 100% positive.

…and that’s a lot of qualifiers in three sentences.

I got bonus donuts twice, then it gave me an extra mountain monorail tunnel (??), current one is for some donuts.

I’ll be glad when this Halloween storyline is done. I have so many of those stupid prizes from the monsters stashed in storage now.

Me too on both. I have burns defeated once and I’m on track, but I’m bored and do not care

I don’t see how I’m going to get Dracula in the next 5 days. Usually, playing at my normal frequency gets me all the prizes with a couple days to spare, but stuff is coming in just way too slow.

The “Slithers comes out of his scales” animation is hilarious, though.

The ONE GOOD THING about this event has been the animations. They’ve been top-notch.

I’m pretty close to Dracula so I think I’ll get him within the next day or so. I’m still battling the Burns character and that’s taking for-freaking-ever. I have to do it 3 times and it still says 1/3 so I have no idea when this will end.

After the Burns monster, the only tasks (i think) that pay out for Dracula are setting the other “monsters” free, amassing multitudes of decorations (some good, mostly crap).

I’m hoping they extend the payout like they usually do - I dont want to have to buy Drac with donuts
