I just hit it this morning after trying probably 10 or 15 times. I’m kind of disappointed I’d been avoiding the track up until a few days ago.
I bought Squeaky Voiced Teen a while ago with donuts. I just had a new Mystery Box awarded for consecutive game play. The box gave me a Homer Buddha which gave me another Squeaky Voiced Teen. So I’ve got the one in Springfield and one stuck in my inventory. Is there anything I can do with the inventory one?
I have the same issue. Squeaky Voice Teen was in Krustyland when I opened the box and now I have two of them. In reading the forums it is a common issue but nothing you can do about it yourself. Just wait patiently for an update to resolve it.
2 squeaky voiced teens? may I say 1st world problems?
I wish I had 1 squeaky voiced teen lol
Halloween is here people!
yes just downloaded the update… loving my springfield right now! yay
I hate it when they start something new with a 24 hour construction item.
I’m not rushing it, so everything(except the cool mood) really starts tomorrow.
It will all end November 7, folks.
I don’t have the update yet but I wanted to add on to that. I hate waiting 24 hours to build something just to have it then lock up a handful of your characters for another 24 hours.
I haven’t gotten the update for Android yet. Anyone else?
I just got it about 2 minutes ago.
I’m not loving the “ambience” of the update. It’s so dark!
It keeps making me think my screen is dirty.
I tried to wipe the dirt off my screen every time I saw the roller coaster track. The ‘haze’ is neat, but I think it might get old quick.
They finally put cars in the parking lot of Krustlyland. I was saying to a friend a few weeks back that they keep adding more people to that place as you build it up but it looks silly with an empty parking lot, I can’t believe they overlooked that. I’m glad that fixed it.
I wonder if there’s going to be anymore quests over there? I haven’t really done anything with mine since they stopped making us build stuff. I have about 110,000 tickets saved up and I’m thinking I either need to build it up and make it look nice or bring all the guys back to the mainland (or both). It seems like a waste to have them over there working if nothing else is going to happen.
Same for the boardwalk, I’ve still building tiles, but I get the feeling that’s another dropped project for them. Other then the Captain, no one even does anything over there. That buildout was a lot of work for nothing. It looks nice, but it was sort of a waste of money.
I’m a bit confused by the mechanics of the Halloween update, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out as I go along.
I rushed the Gypsy house to get an early start. Only 4 donuts.
It seems basically similar to whacking day. Ghosts roam around your town and you earn “GOO” for popping them, and then you use the GOO to buy themed prizes. You can also pop 5 ghosts in your friends’ town to earn more GOO.
But there’s also this Gremlin mechanic that is new. You can put a gremlin in your friends’ towns and if it survives for 4 hours without getting squished by your friend, you earn extra GOO. What I’m not clear on is, does that GOO you can earn come from their supply? It did say something about stealing GOO from your friends, so that doesn’t seem good. But if they catch your gremlin in time, they earn extra GOO, so is it just all’s fair in love and war? Not sure how that’s going to work out.
Some of my friends already have thousands of GOO collected? Crazy.
Keep an eye on tstotips.com, they’ll probably explain it all at some point.
Does anyone else think of Liz Lemon every time they get the prompt. “So-and-so is in Krustyland. Do you want to go to there now?”
Liz, with fake-Oprah: “I want to go to there.”
I say just use the Krustyland entrance to turn the tickets back into money. I maxed out my Krust-o-Meter there and I have people running tasks. Once the park is completed, the whole point is to make more money for your Springfield.
Do what now? My entrance doesn’t let me turn tickets into money. Do you have to complete all the tasks first?
Yes. I think it comes after the Toothchipper.
